Do her tax returns weigh the same as a duck?

President Obama recently said there was "not a smidgen of corruption" at the IRS, even though evidence continues to mount and investigations continue to be pursued.

I do have to say, if Obama actually did say that, in that context, then it was a completely idiotic thing to say.  Of course there is corruption at the IRS.  How many people work there?  How many people do they hire at tax time?  You're going to say not one of them has ever done anything even a little bit wrong?  We already know "individual employees acting on their own initiative" act wrongly.

/I'm certain the IRS thanks all gods for the TSA every day.  They're no longer the most hated and perceived-to-be-corrupt agency in the US

No, but she's still a biatch.

She complains about having her privacy invaded, but she supports making abortion illegal even in cases of rape or incest.

Hypocritical biatch.

Yeah, but she's not even smart enough to do it legally.

A-but she is DRESSED...as one.

Nonetheless, I have it on good authority from the woman herself that she's not a witch - in fact, she's ME.

This is all much too silly.

Yeah, pay very close attention to where the quote is truncated on every single right wing site and blog. I'm assuming he meant in this particular instance.

Please run again, Christine! We missed you so much. Maybe you could run for president with Michelle Bachman. That would be a team of strong conservative women that lie-berals would be very, very afraid of.

A couple of things:

A) I'm a huge political junkie and this is the first I've heard about any problem she may have had with the IRS. Her race was national news. One would think if she was "targeted" there would have been more said about that.

B) The President said there wasn't a smidgen of corruption in relation to the 501(c)4 "targeting" "scandal", not that the IRS is 100% corruption free. In fact, in that same interview, he implies the opposite. He's pretty clear about it.

That's why I said, "IF Obama actually did say that" - it's the GOP, it's more likely he didn't.

Know how they say you're never supposed to hit a woman, ever ever ever ever ever? Well I say, if the woman in question opposes *masturbation*-on a man's own time-and seeks a position of power where she could actually do something about it... the deal is off.

If there were a lien on her property, it's public information. No need to get secret information from within the IRS.

I was in looking for this as well.  She blames the IRS but someone from the state of Delaware accessed the records.

Add that to the truncated Obama quote which doesn't say what she wants it to say...

Why is it absolutely everything the Tea Party people say, when fact checked, is bullshiat?

red5ish: She is incredibly out of touch and frighteningly screwed up in the head. She is irresistible to reporters.

Apparently not. Its an article about herself, written by herself, and published in the opinion section of the NY Post.

She may be a victim of the IRS. It's certainly possible. But you'll have to forgive me if I reserve judgememt until an actual reporter writes an actual news article with even the smallest nod toward objectivity and fact-checking.

Until then, I'll treat this exactly like what it is - a confused, nearly incoherent blog post written by a known con artist, and picked up by a Murdoch tabloid.

The only way to settle this is to administer the witch test! We throw her off a cliff with a broomstick, and if she's a witch she'll fly back up and be burned. If she's not a witch, eh, no great loss.

2014-02-23 05:04:53 PM
You may not agree with my politics, but is this the kind of precedent Democrats really want to set - that leaking private information is no big deal?

The information was most likely leaked from within your own disgruntled staff not by the IRS or any shadowy Democratic oppo group.

As to precedent? Valerie Plame sends her best regards to the ladybug-not-a-witch-you-martyr-lady.

As to the whole truncated quote thing I think people are over-thinking that one. She doesn't mean that Obama said the entire IRS was blemish free. She actually thinks that the "IRS targeted only poor little conservative 501(C)s scandal" is actually a thing.

Basically, it looks like she's playing the victim card here and trying to make fetch happen all at once.

And I for one am finding it pretty damned lulzy. YMMV, of course.

/Welcome back crazy/hawt/confused lady.

Wasn't that the drowning test?  Regardless, it won't work. Too much hot air...
Besides, didn't she claim she was a 41 year old virgin? I think in that case she would have to sacrifice herself Old-school Viking style.

She's about to be a victim of the legal system, if David Smith actually exists, and is an employee of the IRS, she's about to find herself on the sad panda end of a libel/defamation of character claim.
