I'm pretty sure Carol is protecting one psychopath and one "normal for the apocalypse" child but I could be wrong.

Last episode was actually very good, pacing wise and otherwise.

If so, I always have True Detective for TV bleach.

Since Gimple has said this season will be remix of the comics, here's my prediction.

In the comics, there are a couple of child characters that remind me of Lizzie and Mika...Ben and Billy.

COMIC SPOILER

Soooo....Ben Kills Billy and while the adults are debating on what to do with Billy, Carl kills him.  In the show, I don't think that makes much sense.  Like most people, I think Lizzie killed Karen and David (with Carol covering it up), fed the walkers rats, and eviscerated the rat in the prison.  I think Lizzie kills Mika and Carol kills Lizzie....then Carol allows herself to be bitten by a walker and dies.  That stays true to the spirit of the comics...

Without going back and reading I don't remember if Carl ever confessed or was found out, except maybe to Rick.

I believe Carl told Rick and that was it.  I'd have to go back and read again as well to confirm.

One thing that has been kinda bugging me: after all the supply runs they've been making how is it Rick and Carl find a restaurant and houses that have food less than a day's walk from the prison?

She's training them up and trying to make them as horrible as she is. The younger one's resiting.

Because they're houses.

They've been raiding stores. remember the super market of death last season?

They also hit houses, though. Remember where they were when Rick dumped Carol? I would have expected all the neighborhoods within a 30 mile radius would have been cleaned out by now.

Though I guess having Rick and Carl starve to death after escaping the prison probably wasn't on the writers' to-do list.

How do the zombies still have their teeth intact? Instead of biters they should be gummers.

And if I was doing house to house shiat like that in Monroeville Pennsylvania with 30 people for a year, I might have made headway out to about two miles in ONE cardinal direction.

320,000,000 humans in the US, most of them nearish a coast. Plenty of towns.

Morgan saw Carl sneak to the tent and had a talk with Carl about it. Carl confessed to Rick much later IIRC.

Didn't all they find was the giant pudding? If I'm raiding a house, filling up a bag with supplies, food and bottled water, I'm leaving the heavy ass, space taking can of pudding right where it farking is.

Ah. I've got a terrible memory for little details. I'm focusing most of my intellect on contemplating True Detective.

If I hadn't had pudding in years of hell, I'd eat the whole damn can right there, too.

Have never read the comics. Without too many spoilers, what can I expect out of the "newcomers" from the end of last week? I knew from these threads to fear the Governor. I'd have to imagine they wouldn't really be more of the same, just for variety's sake, right?
