I'll be glad when we finally move past this "nobody's better than anyone else and everyone's the best at everything" phase of society and go back to shunning the fatties and the uggo's and the crones.

But then we would have to wade through more of your garbage posts.

I think it depends on the products they are modeling for:
Helen Mirren for Versace evening gowns? Absolutely.
Helen Mirren for Versace lingerie? I think I'll pass on that one.

That. Way to not sell your point, TFA.

Nothing more or less than going after those with the money, and trying to part them from it.

their ability to store a week's worth of rain in their faces

Is there a point behind being a dick to people for no reason? I mean, I get it, it's the internet, and it's Fark and it's super cool and fun to be an asshole with the benefit of anonymity, but is there actual joy derived from this? If so, that's the saddest thing I've ever heard.

People say the Politics tab is the cesspool of Fark, but there's a strong argument to be made that it's the Entertainment tab.

I can't speak for anyone else, but it makes me feel like a big man.

Look, I have no problems admitting a 50+ year old woman has aged well. That doesn't mean I'm sexually attracted to her. I can recognize a woman that's attractive to other people in that age group or folks that go for women in that age group, but that doesn't mean I want a woman in that age group.

I'm in my mid 30s. I tend to prefer women in their late 20s through their early 40s. What I don't get are the people in their 20s and 30s being attracted to women in their 60s and further on. They can like them all they want, I don't have a problem with it, I just won't understand it, and may think that those particular people may have an unresolved Oedipus complex, but to each their own.

I must be dense, or slow, but I don't even farking know what "store a week's worth of rain in their faces" even means.

I remember a sports announcer describing an oldtime hockey goalies face as "being able to hold three days rain".  Goalies - scars , old ladies - wrinkles

Well, Dickwad, I'm going to share with you a secret - as you get older the women get older and in Mick Jagger's words "more better" .  With that said I don't a want fifty year old trying to look like she's twenty anymore than she want's me running around in a Van Halen t shirt.

/but I still do.

And with all of that said - The first great Bj I got was from a forty-something.  There is something to be said for experience.  This works both ways.

The 18-34 year old male demographic does realize these ads aren't directed at them, correct?

Oh I understand they get older and better. That's why despite their often better looks, I'm not into women in their early to mid 20's anymore.

Well considering how many of us guys in that age range have a strange fetish for women like Helen Mirren, I'm not so sure.

Everything in the world revolves around 18-34 year old (white, straight) men.

Have you not seen the way they take it as a personal affront if a woman is not attractive to them?
