Aw Geeez.  Is there nothing the Japanese can't screw up?  They should be proud of her. Hey, it is where she learned to play pinball am I right?

One of the more racist country in the world having issues with a book written by a Jewish person? No way!

If only her books were on that plane for her round-the-world flight this would never have happened.  Instead she took an axe and gave those books 40 whacks.

I thought she only wrote the one book.  Were these prequels, sequels or reboots?

Damn you.  I came to the thread to post that.

I wouldn't worry about it.  The Japanese don't have a history of associating with Nazis.

Is it bad the first thing I thought of was that 256 would have been a much nicer number?

2014-02-21 01:05:55 PM
Well, to the Japanese's credit.   They read books backwards, so to them, the Germans come in and everything else seems to be flashback.

Crime novel mysteries must be infuriating.

I never knew that.  That must have been frustrating, having discovered radioactivity and not being able to easily tell anyone about it.

That was taken a minute before "Mittens" suddenly snapped and broke Helen's fingers; she spoke with a lisp from that day forward.

The Spanish-American War?  And what did we get out of that?   Cuba, and we gave that back.

Sorry, but as a veteran of Battlefield 1942, I can tell you that the Nazis gave every almost every Japanese soldier a Panzerschreck. You can't drive a tank up Mount Suribachi without a bunch of defenders raining Nazi anti tank rockets down on you.

As General of the Army in BF2, I can say this is probably true.
