(TMZ)   TMZ got some footage from the set of Sharknado 2: The Second One, and if this acting is any indication, it will be much, much worse than the first one   (tmz.com) divider line 24

excellent

That's too bad, since it was the acting that drew everyone to the first one.

A friend of mine is working on it.  They took the job because they wanted to say they worked on Sharknado 2.

Hopefully he didn't have to pay too high of a fee.

I can't wait for Sharknado 2!!!

I can't bring myself to watch that movie.

Nice try, Hollywood shill subby.  We're all expecting that since the first one didn't put posers like Scorsese, Daniel Day Lewis, and Meryl Streep out to pasture, this one will.

Unfortunately, I think this movie is bound to be disappointing. Clearly they didn't think they were making Citizen Kane when they were filming Sharknado, but there was still a little bit of earnestness there, or at least lack of self-awareness, that made the movie what it is.

Trying to replicate that seems like an impossible task. Either it won't be able to live up to the ridiculousness of the first one, or it will try to come in too big and too fast and just be a hot mess.

Oh, The Horror Sequel Acting Begins?

So a shiatty movie is an excuse for shiatty writing?

God, I farking hate TMZ... That tabloid shiat makes me want to get all stabby, all the way from here to their front door, through it, all through their front office, their executive offices, their creative floor, their janitorial staff, their "reporter"pool, their employees' dog walkers, their dry cleaners, the people who make the sandwiches at their local Subway, their landlords, the people at their local grocery stores, whoever sold them their cars, whoever sells them their clothes, their utility providers, the person who sold them a farking computer, a cellphone, and on and on and on. Anyone who enables this screamy tabloid shiat in any indirect way deserves to suffer their fate. This serves no farking purpose.

How can it be fail when they're doing it on purpose.

I think they would have paid to work on it, but instead they're just taking a pay cut.  First day of work, they ran into someone they knew who asked what they were doing there.  "Slumming it" was my friend's reply.

Their slogan should be this:

"Last time, we made a movie worse than Plan 9 From Outer Space.  This time, we aim squarely at The Star Wars Holiday Special."

Thanks... If you add some Oregano or Italian Seasoning to Spaghetti O's, they aren't half bad, so that will work... :-)

Sorry, those TMZ videos always annoy the shiat out of me, I guess involving the utility companies was a bit much...

Dude - it's a movie about a tornado with sharks in it. How can you not be aware? lol

Meatballs! And given the time I'd make everything, including the pasta, from scratch.

Mikey1969 seemed to need something immediately. And if you're of a certain age you know from the commercial:

"Give it to Mikey! He'll eat anything!"

The entire appeal of the first movie was "Ridiculous Concept + Mediocre Acting + Bad Production Values = Comedy Gold".  More of the same could be just as good.

Much, much worse than the first? How the hell can you be less than 0? :\
