As a parent, much of the disgust towards bodily fluids has been beaten out of me.

As long as there is running water and soap, this kid can cry me a river.

I'm unsure on the battery charge, but exposing a student, well, anyone, to bodily fluids without protection is a good way to get sued. Hopefully the kid doesn't contract anything. I'd at the minimum say they better fire the teacher.

If the hid was 15 - 17 and was a repeat offender I could see this. As long as they gave him some yellow dish gloves. But a 10 year old? Biatch needs a firin.

Hey. You're just violating federal law when it comes  to potentially infectious bodily fluids. It's all good.

What's a little Hepatitis C among friends, bro?

How did a teacher and her student end up in the boys room with her saying, "get those paper towels outta the pisser"?
There's like.. a whole lot missing from this story.

Easiest scenario:

Kid is in the bathroom with his hoodlum buddies throwing paper towels everywhere when he gets the bright idea to stuff up the urinals. Poindexter walks in and can't pee in the urinal and wets his pants. He then runs off to tell the teacher that the kid is doing bad stuff. Other kids skedaddle and the bad kid is caught red handed as the teacher comes in with the nerd.

I'm having a hard time verifying that Hep-c can be transmitted via urine. A couple of sketchy sources say no flat-out (and, yes, I consider the Arkansas Department of Health sketchy... I consider everything from Arkansas sketchy) and most say "well.. technically, but". In fact.... I'm kind of having a hard time finding anything that's likely to be transmitted via urine. Especially absent the obvious infection vectors like cuts or putting your fingers in your mouth/eyes.

Not that I'm OK with this.... just.... not quite sure what the real risk is here. Pee, frankly, doesn't seem terribly risky if it just gets on your skin.

Except that it's a public restroom where people have been pissing all day long. Yeah, having raised kids, we use the old "it builds their immune system" adage, but I'll be damned if someone's gonna make my kids root around in a dirty urinal.

Especially since the article specifically pointed out that there was no soap in the restroom.

At least we know the Fark handle if the Pizza Hut manager who got caught pissing in the sink.

I'll concede your point if you can 100% guarantee that clean, sterile urine is the only thing that went into that urinal. Otherwise, I'm going to have to go with the guys who say "universal precautions and blood-borne pathogen training for anyone who handles potentially infectious bodily fluid"

Nothing about this was appropriate.
