Don't even ask about organized crime. They can't do that at all without a "helicopter godfather" looking over their shoulders.

When I was 15 I was an incompetent shiatheel of a fast food worker. I somehow worked at this Hardee's for over a year and a half without learning to make more than 3 or 4 line items, mostly because I would "volunteer" myself to wash dishes and prep chicken in the back. Today, if I met me back then, I would fire his ass within two weeks. Perhaps it's not the kids these days, maybe it's us needing such high productivity out of our minimum wage lackeys that we can't afford to employ incompetent shiatheels that half-ass it.

What the fark is the point of that?
Some kid grab his kid brother's pants and start a fashion trend disaster?
/Stop waddling and pull up your pants.
//Seriously. Cover up those skid marks.
///Off my lawn. When you dress like that, the cactuses are a clear and present danger.

So what do you do when that happens? Do you just go home and wait? Do you hope that maybe, just maybe, you left your wallet at your friends house earlier and that's why you can't find it?

That's a remarkably valid statement.  It seems that even minimum wage jobs frown upon the on-the-job-training philosophy.

One crappy thing about living in WASP suburbs is that fast food suck.  They hire rich high school kids (as that is all they got), and these kids have always had someone serve them, and have no idea how the service industry work.  God forbid you ask for ketchup or tell them they screwed up as you will catch attitude.

that or managers in the fastfood world don't give a shiat either. My guess is as long as the store passes health inspection and no significant number of customers are complaining directly to corporate which would come down to the manager then who gives a fark what the workers are doing.

CSB: I worked at a BK in high school.  Wasn't the worst job in the world, but the head manager systematically 'removed' the older folks and handicapped people that worked there to up his productivity numbers.  Dickhead also openly laughed at a letter a mentally handicapped co-worker sent us from the hospital she was in.  She had a severe accident and we all chipped in to send her flowers.  That asswipe didn't but he sure did make fun of her.

/didn't bring her back to work when she was able to return
//I'll shut up now
///OK, now
