Your dog can get autism from getting it's shots.

I've watched Australian Blue Heelers herd toddlers at a birthday party. The herding dogs have had OCD bred into them.

On the latest Mythbusters, which tested the idiom "You can't herd cats," a border collie was getting stressed because the cats wouldn't budge

They better. Otherwise how else are we supposed to train them and keep them obedient?

One of my dogs can't do anything or go anywhere without a tennis ball in his mouth. If he can't find one he freaks out.

My son was at a birthday party and the family dog herded all the kids into a closet.  A lot of the parents were mad.  I wanted to laugh but I couldn't because some parents thought that this was a 'serious situation'.  I had to fight off the laughing, I was looking like the centenarians in Life of Brian trying not to laugh at a Caesar's lisp.

I would have laughed and explained the dog's actions to the children.  I swear, *other people* can be such uptight morons.

A large chunk of any dog's personality is made up of OCD issues.

WHy do you think they spend so much time cleaning their junk?

As long as the dog wasn't scaring the kids into cooperating or biting them, being mad is a weird reaction. That is a good learning opportunity. "ok, if you don't want to go that way tell the dog No".

My dog will only walk in clockwise circles. If her chain gets snagged, she'll walk around the post until her head is wedged up against it.

to get her to go CCW enough to release the latch, I have to pick her up (as she "runs" the other way when her legs are off the ground).

Oh yes, dogs are CDO.

My Australian Shepherd drove herself to a paw-chewing mess trying to herd my three basenjis.

She learned eventually that basenjis are really cats hiding in dog suits, but it was funny to watch.

/one does not train a Basenji. It trains you.
