Samsung suing someone for copying? That's rich.

That's like claiming somebody hurt their image by calling them Samsung.

How? They both suck.

No, Samsung is suing Dyson for brand damage because Dyson accused Samsung of copying.

Is it me or is the whole lawsuit happy world we live in just a bunch of bs from a broken patent system?

Well, seeing as I've got you all here, I'd just like to take a minute or two of your time to talk about the many many virtues of the Kirby vacuum...

Dyson tried to sue Samsung on a patent trolly sort of case, saying Samsung was copying. When Samsung whipped out prior art that proved they couldn't have copied (and in fact, that Dyson was late to the game) the case was dropped. Now Samsung is suing because the Dyson case had no solid basis, but wrongfully painted Samsung in a poor light with the consumer.

Samsung's right in this case. Dyson tried to play David & Goliath, and didn't realize that what they were really playing was David & Bigger, Smarter, More Experienced David.

Have fun buying a new one every year. Kirbys may be bulky and heavy but at least they are a strong sweeper. Wouldn't trade anything for my Aerus though.

A vacuum snob thread. Just when I thought I've seen it all.

I've always been told that Kirby dealers, much like the upper levels of Amway, are just involved in a Republican swinger's club. Sure, they sell products on the side, but they're mostly interested in f*cking each other's wives.
