Neither did any of us who managed to watch the video.  The "banned fold-in" was never shown.

My VPN was set to Canada when I first clicked the link and I got the same message. Then I set it to the U.S. and it worked.

Nice!  He "reveals" by saying what it was at the very end of the video.  Nice find!  And what's this "God Who Walks The Earth"?  Is there some joke I'm not getting?

2014-02-15 01:37:12 PM
The banned fold-in dealt with school shootings, and a "theater shooter trial" (James Holmes pre-trial hearing, I guess?) was big in the news as they went to press, so they strapped it and shredded 600,000 printed issues.

The art wasn't shown.  There, saved you 5 minutes.

I question his story. Why would he go through the work to make the drawing then support the decision to destroy the magazines?

He probably did the job well in advance of the trial?

Doesn't matter if it was printed or not. No one reads mad anymore.

I won an unusual table for $75 at a silent auction in Provincetown. It had been owned by Al Jaffee, made by a local artist.

It was probably done as a general satire before the Aurora shootings, but the issue would have been released right around the time trial of the Aurora shooter was beginning, so they held it back.

Right, he was probably thinking "They'll run it during one of the many lengthy periods of time between mass shootings"

I haven't read any new issues in years, but I remember as a kid going through the stacks that my stepfather had. I laughed my ass off at some of it, and I admit that there were a lot of in-jokes and political tones I did not "get" at the time.
