Sorry but that dog won't hunt. Sounds like a hit piece.

These incompetent FARKs are in charge of our national security.  The Snowden leaks started a year ago and they are just now getting around to tightening security?

If I recall correctly, didn't Snowden get access by asking people at the Admin level for their account credentials? I mean he was admin, but I think they had some protections in place against that he social engineered around.

The NSA failed what almost every corporation drills into its employees. Don't hand out your username and password, ever.  Doesn't even sound like he needed to pull out any of the tricks that pen testers use. He just asked.

He may have.  He has certainly released lots of stuff that's just normal spycraft on international targets, not the internal-to-the-USA stuff that allegedly offended him so much.  Had he stuck to the latter, he'd be a lot more believable.  But for releasing the former, he should hang.

Nice to see the wilderness of mirrors is alive in the halls of the security agencies.

So, Lone Starr, now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb.

Intelligent people already knew the U.S. government is the most corrupt government in the world..  Snowden just opened the eyes of the ignorant coward liberals to the depths of corruption.  Snowden is a freakin' hero.

I like how they disabled the co-worker's access, and then told him they PLANNED on firing him.

How about walking security leaks out the door the minute you discover them?   Just a thought.

Oh well, then, in that case, NSA, we're good.

Considering how many lies the NSA has told us who gives two shiats what they have to say? We can't take them at their word and from all currently known info they eaten up billions of dollars and been necessary to stopping exactly 0 terrorist plots. They have made it easier for their contractors to spy on their ex-lovers though. Fark 'em, and cut their budget down to 1/20th of what it is now. Maybe then we can get them to actually focus on bad guys outside of our country instead of being completely out of control.

The Burgess/McLean/Philby  in England affair helped produce Tinker Tailor etc.

So, it's not all bad.

Yeah, well, they *HAVE* to, otherwise they look not just like the violators of the Constitution that they are, but also stupid enough to let a single person get away with something like that.

Yeah, well, I won't argue that Snowden should be commended for his work, but if you truly believe that the US government is the most corrupt government in the World, well, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.

Was it the GOP, who think that as many government jobs as possible should be outsourced to "private enterprise"?

Just because the US people have a better standard of living than those other third world countries doesn't mean our government isn't just as corrupt. When is the last time our elected officials actually bent to the will of the people, not the will of their corporate lobbiest. Your government spies/collects data (potato, potata) on everything, just because government doesn't round up groups of people for gas chambers doesn't mean their policies are different than Nazi Germany.

I don't know, they're doing an alright job regarding equal rights for homosexuals right now. I mean, would have been nice if whether people are people wasn't even a question that needed to be considered but at least they're moving on it. And the Dems, at least, are doing a generally standup job on defending women's rights, though honestly I'd like to see the Justicie department get involved in smacking down some of these absolutely absurd state "health" laws. I'd straight-up applaud if we brought some cases against state legislators for violation of oath of office for passing those laws too; when you take office you pledge to defend the rights and freedoms of your fellow citizens, and anti-gay, anti-abortion laws are all about violating those rights. What I wouldn't pay to see the many assholes of the Texas lege stewing under official misconduct and sedition charges >:]
