"while some officials were armed with nets, rifles and firecrackers as a precaution"

wtf, firecrackers?? I am thinking that if you handed me some black cats and told me to use them in case of a tiger attack, I would rip your throat out

New Headline!

"Public asked to do census on wild tigers warn to take care after 18 people did not survive make their time."

A Tiger census? What happens if one tiger wants to claim to be "English"?

Another version of the headline:

"Man writing article heading attacked by - AHHHAH tiger! Help, help!!! hel - "

2001-12-07 10:22:09 AM
But if you were being attacked by a tiger, you wouldn't write "AHHHAH"... you'd just say it!

No, I would do both. I am odd.

Article:
"In 2000, 18 people, mainly fishermen, were killed by tigers."

Steven Wright:
"There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot."

Especially with all those tigers, huh ??

StrongBad: Apparently there is such a thing as too subtle of a Python reference.

"A tiger? In Africa?"

"It could have escaped from a zoo.."

"...tigers and crodiles..."

WTF is a crodile? A recently discovered carnivrous salamander the size of a school bus? Or something else?

Reminds me of the people in the Sunderband who wear masks on the backs of their heads so the tigers won't try to pounce on them from behind. Not sure if it works or not...

"Mostly fisherman?" This is the food chain at it's finest. Fish thinks he's about to partake of a juicy bug, fisherman sees the fish approach and congratulates himself on his fishing prowess, then just before the fish bites, a tiger pops out of no where and eats the fisherman. The fish is left to wonder what the hell happened to his bug...

People forget that humans are just another animal. Humans are simply a feral species that no longer has enough natural predators to keep our numbers in check. We forget that we are food to large predators, well that is unless you live in the Bengal Tiger home range, because Tigers haven't forgotten that we are prey...

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that I can go through life and not have to worry daily about being a meal for some big-ass cat... The human superiority complex is just funny to me...
