CSB while I finish having my shiat:

Today I was driving in the right lane when I came up on an intersection. Someone in the left lane started signalling right as I came up because there was a car ahead turning left, preventing them from proceeding. Apparently they were very upset that I didn't slam on my breaks to let them get ahead of me, so they started honking at me as I passed. So I flipped them off as I slowed down enough that the light changed by the time I got there, then ran the red, leaving them stuck at the intersection for another cycle.

Felt good.

If you think that shooting wildly from a moving car at another car that's ramming you is a good idea, you're a farking moron.

Didn't you know, everyone on Fark is an expert marksman who can bullseye womp rats in their T-16, they're not much bigger than two meters.

I agree that fast lane idiots arbitrarily establishing what the speed limit ought to be is irritating to the max.  However, continuously ramming the slow driver on the highway and in a shopping center is just a bit over the top and fully worthy of a lifetime ban behind the wheels.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.  Driving the speed limit is not arbitrarily establishing what the limit is,  It's established by law.  You should have no reason to complain because, and I know this is a hard concept for some people to understand but.... YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GOING OVER THE SPEED LIMIT.

Also I'd like to say this is BS: Gagon faces two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault and one charge of careless driving for the Saturday night attack.

This is what is wrong with the American justice system.  He should be facing 1 count of road rage.  There is no reason to include 5 charges for one act.  Especially when the first 4 charges are for the exact same crime:  Assault.  That should be 1 charge of assault and perhaps one charge of careless driving.

Fortunately many states disagree with you and have enacted laws to punish dangerous drivers (like you) who drive too slowly in the left lane. You're best just to move on over and leave the law enforcement to the cops.

Which laws punish people for driving the speed limit again? I think I forgot those ones.

In Florida driving in the far left lane of an interstate is a infraction unless you are actively passing, they have "slower traffic keep right" signs everywhere, try cruising in the left lane when a bored cop is around and ya end up with a 158 dollar ticket for violating lane restrictions. The letters to the editor page of the Florida Times Union has sob letters from seniors complaining about gett ...

True.  Sadly, you're actively passing a LOT on the interstate because many people either choose to go crazy fast (90+) or slow to a crawl (<65).  The speed limit is 70 but cops won't pull you over unless you're exceeding 80.  There's very little enforcement of that law due to the overwhelming number of senior citizens, but I do try to get into the middle lanes whenever possible for this reason.  If it's obvious that I'm going to be passing someone in the middle lanes within a minute or so, fark it, I'm not moving.  Otherwise, it gets very dangerous as people in the far right lane change to the middle fairly often (often after merging).

Indicators are used about 50% of the time it seems, so I try not to chance getting sideswiped to obey this law.  I would imagine it's enforced more in certain parts of the state, but thankfully where I drive it's not.

Around Jacksonville the emphasis seems to be on keeping traffic flowing, unless you are actively obstructing traffic or driving so insanely ya might wreck and obstruct traffic they dont care. Around Gainesville its revenue generation, they have cops scouring the books for obscure laws to cite ya for, south of West Palm I'm not sure they have any traffic laws except try to make it home alive...

Kids these day. Stick with the tried-and-true.

Reminds me of my old Army days stationed at Ft. Bliss, 1971.  The whole battalion was up in the McGregor Range for our FTX.  We were standing around shooting the breeze, probably after dinner, when a duece and half rolls up.  Out pops one of the enlisted guys and Lt. Krantz.  Krantz is complaining that they went to pick up the blank ammo for our M16's (there were going to be "aggressors", so we were going to play "guns") and they had to wait for an hour before they received the ammo.  I was wondering why they had to take a duece and half, and not just a 5/4.  Just how much ammo did they pick up?  I looked in the back of the duece and could see a bunch ammo canisters.  On two of the canisters I could read "5.56mm, Rifle Ammunition, Ball", or however it was phrased.  I walked back to where Lt. Krantz was still complaining about the delay, and said, "Er...sir, you picked up regular ammo, not blanks."  Krantz looks at me like I'm crazy, and says, "No, they gave us blanks."  I said, "Well, look for yourself, sir, it says "ball ammunition" on the canisters."  Krantz looks into the back of the truck, runs to the cab and gets the paperwork out and realized that he had signed off for the ball ammo instead of blanks. It meant a trip back to Bliss and then a return trip.  They weren't back until around midnight. I realized that they could have been given warheads to Nikes and wouldn't have noticed the difference. I thought we should have kept the real ammo. We would have surprised those aggressors.  We would have surprised them, real good.

Not nearly as surprised as your guys would have been the first time ya fired ball ammo with a blank adapter attached...

I come on here to read,  if I wanted to watch something I'd fire up my tee-vee,  and after waiting for the tube to warm up,  watch that instead.

I rammed a female driver repeatedly one time.
Had to check her license to make sure she was legal.

The way I heard it the killer had the hook in place of a foot.
