I've never known anybody who lived it a grain silo.  Knew a couple guys who died in one, though.  Buried in corn.

Wow, the pics in the article are scary as hell.
"Let's just throw a bunch of shiat on top and along side this silo and rent it out to students. Brilliant!"

I sure hope they anchored those storage containers to the wall.

This just makes me think of Fallout.  I'm not opposed to recycling used containers for living space, but it seems like it requires a decent amount of planning to ensure there is good...say...air circulation, among other things.

i remember old grain silos as a kid that were run down and dilapidated and such; they made great playscapes (without consideration of the peril).
