DemDave: It sounded like he couldn't talk when she climbed on top of him, but after it was over he was able to say that he didn't remember sex when she asked him.

So which one is it, lady? Did you fark the words back into his brain or something?

I think the brain damage is like a hinderance to him verbally expressing his emotions, etc.  As in he is verklempt with emoptions: feeling them, but a brain so damaged and confused that he can't spontaneously describe them with verbal communication.  But if you talk to him and ask questions, he can put together some basic answers that describe things.

maybe he was just pretending to be that way in hopes that she would leave because he was tired of her sh*t.

Okay, I get that she's hurt and confused and all that, but masturbating on your brain-damaged husband's body is disturbing as hell.

He's not a vegetable.

FTA ""I don't think so," he says, and then he watches my eyes for reaction." and "His hand reaches out, enfolds my hip."  or "his enhanced kinesthetic awareness will find erogenous zones that are more orgasmic than any of his former, he-man grinds" and especially "His hands reach for my bottom. Squeeze. A gesture hidden and overt, the perfect flirt. We lean into each other, starry with the song and the dusk and the delight of this time."

I wish my S.O. would forget everything he thinks he knows about sex from growing up on internet porn, and stop acting like I do everything wrong because I expect him to actually look at me and touch me, and I don't like j*** on my face. Cut out that part of his brain and our relationship would be damn near perfect :( If we didn't work so well together in every other aspect I would dump him for the terrible sex alone.

//tomorrow is valentine's day :(

I didn't need to read that.

AverageAmericanGuy: Abacus9: AverageAmericanGuy: Abacus9: AverageAmericanGuy: Too wordy.

She probably likes to ready Ray Bradbury.

You think Bradbury is wordy? How precious.

You don't? The man never met a synonym he didn't like, love, need.

He's certainly descriptive, but he's as poetic a prose writer can be. It almost always adds to the story.

I did not find that to be the case. I found him wordy and tedious. Not as tedious as this article, given.

I'd advise you to try again, you're missing out on something great. Just the introduction to my copy of Dandelion Wine is worth reading, it's so beautiful, and the topic is writing. He makes the most mundane things interesting because of how he phrases it.

Even today, people who claim to be enlightened are still so prudish, even when it involves a married couple. Did no one consider how therapeutic sex can be? Especially in a committed relationship.
