Not so smarmy now about that Idi Amin comment you made in London now, are ya, Bob?

Who likes Matt Lauer? Is NBC so lacking in big name talent, that he is the next best thing to Bob Costas?

/note to Bob: we know you're not 35 anymore. It's okay to go a little grey

Be careful of what you wish for.....if Lauer goes down, we're likely looking at Ryan Seacrest.

I guess Bob had to take the red-eye out of there.

He has ties to NBC? If so, then you make a great point.

I usually don't mind the commentary during the Olympics, But this year I have found it terrible. Just the remarks during the events have been stupid. And during the opening ceremony I didn't need them to tell my how to interpret the performance.

Not me.  He strikes me as just unpleasant in most every respect, including appearance.  Smarmy and disingenuous.  That is the best the network can do?

/haven't seen one minute of this
/don't watch much TV either

I never knew there was such hate for Bob Costas until he got pink eye. You'd think he egged his neighbor's house or something.

Maybe they can make us all happy and as Fox if they can borrow Joe Buck!

They should replace the commentary team with Bobby and the Gorilla.

The older Lauer gets the more he looks like the kind of therapist who sleeps with his patients.

If NBC needs a replacement, they shouldn't look any further than Meredith Vieira.

I like Bob Costas.

What I don't like is looking at his red, scary, infected eyes.

Ten bucks says Matt gave Bob the pink eye.

"Hey Bob, have a set of Olympic souvenir binoculars!"
"Gee, thanks Matt. You're a swell guy!"

/Bob didn't know Matt rubbed his balloon knot on the eyepieces before he received them.

I would've gone with, "Matt rubbed his brown eye on the eyepieces to give Bob the red eye" with an ironic tag. Lol

Who doesn't he have ties to?
ABC - NY Rockin Eve
FOX - American Idol
NBC - MIllion Second Quiz
E! - Basically the whole network (which, is owned by NBC Universal)

CBS actually seems to have not gotten bit by Ryan (yet).

I'll take zombie Bob Costas over Dan Patrick.

Bring in Nate Silver, just to confuse the viewers with odd statistics. Or Oberman.

CBS should bring back The $20,000 Pyramid with Seacrest as host, just so he can be exactly like Dick Clark back in the day.
