Imagine getting all the way back down and then realizing you left your keys up there.

These always scare me to watch, but the ladders and catwalks show that someone does that routinely, probably every day.  I'm sure they're strapped in to hell and back, though.

Loved that Blade Runner shot near the beginning.

At some point, the one that's really going to terrify me is when they get near the top and then cruelly drop the POV Gopro on purpose.

At the end where he was standing on top of the crane, all I could think about was Cleveland going "no, no, No, NO, NOOOO!"

That, or a sudden gust of wind.

Nope. I've seen those Russian kids in action before, and I'm not about to watch that when I'm this hungover. I don't feel like puking, thanks.

They just wanted a breath of fresh air.

I remember the video of a guy climbing a radio tower. Yeah, there are ladders and such, but they don't hook in while they climb because it slows them down.

At the end when they did their "high five", I thought for sure one of them was gonna be knocked off balance.

Well, Duh. That light bulb aint gonna change itself.

They picked the wrong country for that.

It's crazy, it's scary as hell, and I would never be able to do it. But damn, it's pretty cool.

Barehanded? They are clearly wearing gloves.

I don't usually have a problem watching that sort of stuff, but this video had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Terrifying and awesome.

The entire climb up the crane is definitely not something any one does. The grating that they are climbing on is meant to be stood on.

Has construction stopped on it?  There were no workers around and the work areas seemed unused for some time.  Seems like it took more than a day to climb the whole way.  Wonder how long it took.

Yeah, the editing is all over the place. There are nighttime shots- those are really cool.

My palms got sweaty as they were climbing over the 10' wall to get into the grounds...

It's a Chinese construction site. Give some of the workers fisheye lenses and I expect their average workday footage would be only slightly less insane than this video (and that's only because these lunatics climbed the crane). The workers have to focus on getting something done beyond just not falling off the building.

probably filmed during Chinese new year. shanghai is not that deserted in that area any other time of year which would also explain why no construction workers, they've gone back to the countryside for the holiday.

They came across as borderline-insane thrill-seeking twentysomethings with a plan, not those deathwish Russian teenagers you see hanging from cranes by one hand because fark living in Russia.
