Launchpad1986: I thought they were called dumbasses... have the times changed?

People are just flinging any random bit of mental health jargon at anyone they don't like these days, really. It's a cheap way to pretend to be an intellectual, without the bother of actually having to learn the meanings of the words you toss.

Psychopaths are often the best business persons.  They have no emotions to bar them from conducting business in the manner that best suits them.

I read an article a few weeks ago (sorry -- no link because it was in a magazine) which discussed Alpha personalities and pointed out that Psychopaths make up the majority of our major business leaders.

Functional Psychopaths, meaning they don't go screaming down the street with axes or knives chopping everyone they encounter into bits. They just have a flawed moral compass which allows them to take advantage of everyone they encounter -- sorta like car dealers -- and usually have a charismatic personality.

This might explain the majority of the 1% and the sudden explosion of new billionaires during a time when the nation is in a financial crisis.

Might explain the majority of Congress also.

If you think about it, you'll note that the majority of outrageous perks and salaries for CEO's started back around the oil crisis and hostile takeovers soared.

I still think someone finally figured it all out and he took the blame for it. His fingerprints were all over the place and he was a convenient fall guy.
