ZMugg: "I stared into its eyes,"  he insists.

And when you gaze long into a log the log also gazes into you.

I often whisper this to myself when I take a massive shiat and then stand up to look at it before flushing

Having canoed in the Everglades, I can attest that once you've seen a great big hissing alligator in the wild, every log starts too look like 'em.

RoyHobbs22: My buddy used to snail mail me Polaroids of his epic bowel movements.  I recently used his email and signed him up on J Date.  Special friendship.  CSB?  Suppose not.

I always planned to start a blog when I got a smart phone, and only take pictures and videos of my turds with no explanation except perhaps what I ate.  I got a smart phone but didn't care enough to set up the blog.

There used to be a stump on my way to work that looked like a big cat. It fooled me more than once.

This, on the other hand, looks like a piece of wood. Or a cat. You could imagine it was a cat (head to right) despite the nearly straight line of its back.

I've said it before on here.

I actually had that book for a wood identification class.  Seriously, it was a ridiculously hard class.  As hard or harder than Calc 2, static physics or chem 3.

I had a huge bag of simarlly sized wood blocks to study from.  You figure out the type of wood by it's cellular structure etc.  My friends used to think it was hilarious when I carried that bag around...cuz, well, it was.

A surprising number of times when I'm out running I will see a person or animal in the distance and as I approach I realize it was just a shadow or a stump or two objects combining to form a familiar outline. The human brain is great at recognizing patterns but false positives happen pretty regularly. The trick is that most people will figure out that a false positive is just that before posting footage of it online.

This thread needs someone to argue for the crocodile.  Just as the streetlight thread rose to greatness upon the unceasing labours of its proponents proponent, so could the crocodile thread.

The video showed something the exact color and size of a crocodile and it was in water just like a croc might be.
