Is he at least going to give him a basket of stuff as a parting gift?

Jeter tried to break up with ARod via text, but ARod was too old to figure out how to read it.

Alkoholiker: violentsalvation: I can't wait for baseball.

Why

Because baseball is awesome, and whatever sweat soaked, homo-erotic or Eurotrash sport you watch sucks.

Alkoholiker: violentsalvation: I can't wait for baseball.

Why

Because it's a sport I love and once it starts I can catch a game or at least part of a game almost every day for six months straight. Football is over, I don't really care for hockey or NBA, the only basketball I enjoy is March Madness. I like MMA but it's only on a couple days a month. Basically, I need some damn sports to watch that I enjoy and I can't wait to see how my team does this year.

I miss baseball.  Whenever I go back to the States during spring/summer I make a point of seeing a baseball game.  This might just be the year I spring for MLB.tv.

So much this. It's time to start preparing the 6th annual "Pink Hat Pool."  Every year we come up with 50 or so questions about the upcoming season. Standard things like HR, RBI, and AVG leader in each league, pitchers with the most SO, lowest ERA, most wins, for each league, pick the order each division will finish in, and so on. And then there are a bunch of odd-ball questions like who will be the first manager fired, will Saltalamacchia hit more or less HRs than there are letters in his last name, etc. You get 1 point for every question you answer correctly. In the case of guessing number of RBI or batting average the league leader has, you get the point for being closest and a bonus point for guessing it exactly.  AT the end of the season the person with the lowest point has to buy and wear a pink Red Sox hat and wear it to the bar. The winner gets all his drinks and food paid for.

I'll be in Hawaii for a couple weeks when opening day comes around, and as a Red Sox fan you know I'm going to do everything in my power to find a place with the game on TV so I can see the ring ceremony.

Just googled a bit -- are you talking about Ryan Spilborghs? I would have thought your "mini-Jeter" would be Tulowitzki.

Derek Jeter's gay? I wouldn't blame him for switching sides every so often. It must get monotonous farking EVERY single fine piece of ass in NYC & Hollywood.

He banged the DirecTV Genie. THAT's why they call him the captain.

There's actually a button on his remote that he can press to have her sent over.  Because he's the captain.

In terms of position, Tulo, but in terms of significance for the team (a vet spending well over a decade with the same team, enough to be the face of the team) I'm thinking Helton. In other words, all you needed to do was Google "Igloo cup baseball player"

I have a hard time thinking of Helton as mini-anything, what with him being 6'2" and everything.
