rman: The Tour is coming to my Home Town of Katy Texas. For the small price of $1.00 each of you  I will email you my personal opinion and my thoughts if this is the Real Bigfoot or not after I take the Tour through the Trailer and inspect it for myself.  I do not claim to be a Hunter or an expert. I only wish to make some quick cash so I can have some extra spending money for my hot rod!
Let me know and I will forward my Post Office Box info!

Can I just give you my credit card number? I'm really curious as to how this girl was able to survive in that attic during WWII, and then end up dead near San Antonio 60 years later. You may need to go multiple times to really weigh the gravity.

They're college students, give them a break. Besides, Target doesn't sell matching bras and panties.

cgraves67: ReverendJasen: How do these idiots have enough money to buy a trailer and display case, with a full graphics sticker-kit on it, but can't even make a fake that looks real enough to fool a blind toddler?

Once the people get in to see the display, they've already paid.

Yep, and I'm sure that there are no refunds... They've been running a "truckload sale" in the old Circuit City building over the weekends for the last few months here. The kicker is that there is no ad, no listing whatsoever for what they've got and what the prices are, but you are more than welcome to go in and shop if you FIRST pay a $10 "entrance fee". Fark that.

Scammy scams are scammy...

Rick Dyer has the impression that Phoenix won the vote for Most Gullible City. It must be the heat.

Some Arizonans may be gullible, but if anything, don't take your story to Channel 5. No matter how serious they act, no one I know makes them their first choice in local news. They're like the Rodney Dangerfield of local stations. There's another station which has the reputation of being the Forrest Gump of Phoenix TV news though.

There is a famous case called the Minnesota Iceman, which was a supposed Bigfoot found frozen in a block of ice.  It made the rounds back in the 70s.  I remember seeing it during an exhibition at a mall.  Probably a fake, but still was pretty cool.

Yes. We must remember where the respective completely imaginary creatures live.

Sorry, roadside attractions are different. The Thing was actually pretty cool. Not the thing itself, that sucked, but the whole roadside museum before you got to it was great. I went 10 or 12 years ago when we were down by Tucson for the day, and it was a blast. It also has a whole 'Americana' charm to it that these guys' production already seems to be lacking.

If he was smart, he'd set up a contract with the people who run the state fairs and let you pay a couple of bucks to see the "Giant Alligator", the "Giant Horse" or the "Giant Cow", where you're herded through a trailer and get like a 6" gap to look through. Nobody expects a real alligator, horse or cow in those tings... He would never get sued because it would be a part of the carnival midway atmosphere. This private showing crap is really going to raise people's expectations...

And I liked this part from TFA:
The specimen comes from Rick Dyer, a self-proclaimed 'Bigfoot Tracker' whose web site says, "I tracked a creature. I shot it. With tears in my eyes, I watched it take its last breath." Dyer says that was in 2012.

"But I STILL killed that motherfarker, of course, the tears just made it more of a trick shot."

What a tool this guy is...

In order to arrest them, someone would have to declare official, "Bigfoot Hunting Season". As it stands, there are no official rules or limits on hunting.

KPHO LOVES cryptids... They lose their shiat over Chupacabra on a regular basis. New Times has had some fun with that. That they are the site jumping onto this story surprises me not at all.

Why isn't Sasquatch decomposing? Is somehow the guy who shot Sasquatch also a scientist (he has after all ran his own DNA tests) and a taxidermist?

Hunter. Geneticist. Taxidermist.

He wears many hats.

This is often the way of con men.

Dyer has hired promoter Andrew Clacy to book stops on the "I Told You So" tour. Clacy told CBS 5 News that the body has undergone DNA testing, MRI scans, an autopsy, and more scientific testing in the last year. However, results from those tests are not yet available.

Hey, those things take time.  He only shot the thing in 2012, how could you possibly expect a scientist to take a look in barely over a year?

And the fact that he's been busted for this exact same scam before is certainly not proof that the lying asshole is lying again, is it?

They have the "ice man" here in Austin at some oddity museum. I went there just for laughs and had no idea they had it on display. It was obviously a rubber suit in a block of ice. At least the rest of the museum was neat. They had some guy that could give himself serious electric shocks and not die or even feel much pain.

Well supposedly in the 70s the original that was supposedly real according to conspiracy buffs got thawed after the freezer craped out and started rotting then they replaced it with the rubber suit frozen in ice.

Not saying I buy it but thats the legend.
