Harry Freakstorm: Let me guess. Here was the order:

"I want a Mac Double with real onions not the chopped ones. Tomatoes and lettuce to the side. A Diet Coke with light ice and a value fry with light salt. I need 20 napkins, ten ketchups and some BBQ dipping sauce."

She is in every car that has been in front of me at McDonalds. The ice is never light. The fries are too salty or not salty enough. The lettuce and tomatoes that are wrapped in a hamburger wrapper seems to be a crime against humanity.

This. It's always amusing to me when people are particular about their order at a fast food place.

Just order regular food off the goddam menu. It's all equally cruddy, don't try to fancy it up by making it a "special" order (AKA, the Pain in the Ass Meal). Scrape the condiments you don't want off the sandwich and proceed.

If you have special dietary needs, I'd suggest not going to a fast food place.

So much for "an armed society is a polite society." That was downright rude of her to do.

The My Little Pony Killer: dj245: The My Little Pony Killer: Why do you people continue to patronize places that are continually screwing up your order? Once, I can see, but when you whine about them doing it every single time you go there, the problem is not with them.

Because I need something to eat after I get out at work at 5:15 but I need to get to class by 6.  The drive takes 30 minutes with traffic and there is nothing else quick on the way.

I can deal with mistakes.  Food is food.  The errors in my order never are in my favor though.  I am getting really irritated about that.

So pack yourself a lunch. Problem solved!

/you *do* know how to spread peanut butter and jelly on two slices of bread, right?

Pack a lunch?!?!  *GROAN*

But, that will require 5 minutes of planning and a little bit of forsight. FARK! Why can't I just do things the absolute easiest way and complain that people aren;t making it easier?

lindalouwho: Anayalator: I used to get bent when they put cheese on my no cheese order. I always thought it was easier to make something if you got to put one less ingredient on the food. Then it dawned on me that it was an extra step for them to take the frozen cheese off of my frozen food before they microwaved it.

Was a chef. Even in fine dining it is harder to leave something out - force of habit. Tho we almost always did remember.

/will always be grateful for the babysitting-4-kids gig I had in high school. Saved me from fast food

I've learned over the years to be very apologetic if my food is served with cheese, even if I could not have been more clear about that part of my order. I never mess with food service folks.

So the women returned to the restaurant's drive-thru window around 3 a.m. and ordered again. Torres was the passenger in the vehicle, and was flirting with the employee in the first drive-thru window. She left that person her phone number in hopes he would call her later.

Police tracked down the shooter at her home because she left her cellphone number at the restaurant during the first incident so the manager could call so they could discuss the wrong order.

Torres pulled out a gun, reached across the driver and fired a bullet through the closed car window, and then the drive-thru window, police told 24 Hour News 8.

You want to know what the real cause of violence is? It's not access to guns, it's stupidity.

More like when you make 100s of the same thing muscle memory kicks in and you do it just because it's what you always do.  When you make a special order some people see it but they inadvertantly mess it up or if you are at the drive through the person packing the bag picked up the wrong sandwhich and gave you the normal one.

I hate Burger King because everytime you order a Whopper they ask if you want cheese.  Jesus make a different item if by default you ask that question or make it come with cheese and I'll say no cheese but i feel bad for the workers who have to ask with every single order.

Is a felony weapons offense anywhere close to attempted murder? Because asshats that fire their weapons at others should be punished pretty damn near what an actual murderer would be. At least two years in jail and a few years of probation.

In her defense, they in fact "dis-respected her" for botching up her order twice. That's worth a bullet through the window.

One person isn't a society. In fact, I'd say she was pretty anti-social.

Depends on the context. A new place or only an order wrong every year or so is one thing, but when orders are wrong every other visit ya just want to toss a grenade through the drive thru window.

/they're actually drive BY windows
//well, some people drive through them
///technically correct, the best kind
