76ers score a grand total of 30 points at the half. Ouch.

Websense has blocked this request because it's a "malicious web site" (keyword: "games" in URL).

Apparently, Websense is a 76ers fan.

Actually, I was thinking they just might be better without a coach

I think they should hire Dennis Rodman as their coach and lose every single game from here on out.  It's unfortunate that they have the league set up so that draft position is more important than the playoffs unless you're one of six or seven teams each year.

Is "the making" a nickname for Detroit?

123-78... that looks like a box score from a 92 Dream Team match against Angola.

I am just surprised the Bucks weren't involved.

Or two better than the Pelicans at the half yesterday.

Just noticed, the end of 3rd quarter score was 100-51.... I'd be tempted to just say, just, nobody even try to score in the 4th quarter, we'll just see how close they can get.... like they are going to score 49 in a quarter.

2014-02-10 10:35:06 AM
At least they won the 4th quarter. That shows they didn't give up. Now excuse me while I go change my pants because I laughed so hard I pissed myself.

I was about to say, The Pelicans weren't doing much better yesterday. Shame. Friday night was a good game.

No way the Sixers fire their coach. This was a planned tank season and other than this game for the most part they've been better than expected, people thought this roster was going to be epic bad this year, instead they are only a couple games behind the Knicks and Nets. Popovich or Phil Jackson couldn't get anything out of this roster, its Michael Carter Williams (rookie of the year), Thad Young, and a collection of clowns and D Leaguers.

Long term the Sixers are right where they need to be. Michael Carter Williams looks like a keeper at the point. Nerlens Noel will be back healthy soon at center. Two lottery picks in the upcoming draft. And the most cap space in the league after this season and next to add a free agent to that good young core.

Shame too for the Pelicans that most likely they don't have their first in the upcoming draft either. Jrue Holiday for the Pelicans 2013 6th overall pick and their 2014 first rounder, top 5 protected. So I'm rooting for the Pelicans to suck, but not suck too much.

Shocking to me as a Sixers fan that we actually might have come up on the right end of a trade. Memories of that Andrew Bynum trade debacle, still too soon.

The Pelicans need to trade for Nerlens Noel, if for no other reason, to see if he'll then change his name to N'awlins Noel. Or, do the Pelicans get meme-hip and make "ERMAGERD! NERLENS!" t-shirts?

Most 6ers fans are quite happy with their coach.  Actually they think he's been doing too good of a job with the dreck of a team.

I was worried it was a Jazz game.

I only object to the term tanking, this is a rebuilding year. The Sixers were going to blow up the roster regardless of the quality of the incoming class. A core of Jrue/Turner/Hawes/Young are never going to get you out of the first round. (and this is why I still support the Bynum trade, Iguodala wasn't going to get you past the first round - the victory against the bulls doesn't count).

Tanking is a mid season adjustment, where you think you are going to be good enough, but something doesn't go as planned and you say the hell with it - like this year's Bull's team.

Granted... although the Bulls better start sucking a lot more if they want to be in the lottery..... unfortunately, you have to really really play bad to make the 9th slot in the east this year.

Is this some sick twisted way to mock the Denver Broncos?

It'll be interesting to see what kind of impact Noel has on the team.  The Sixers are actually kind of a fun team to watch, as their offense can be pretty exciting every other game or so, but their defense is bad in pretty much epic proportions.  Noel should help, but they probably need him, Ben Wallace, and Gary Payton in their prime to be even middle of the pack defensively.
