Next you'll be telling me that Amelia Earhart crashed on that island where they found wreckage of a plane identical to hers, personal belongings of hers, and bones of a female of her age, rather than the TRUTH that she was taken to Atlantis by the reptilians.

2014-02-08 10:14:47 PM
What if there WAS a mysterious force there, but it disappeared too?

Amelia Earhart? The chick that discovered radon?

What would she be doing on an island?

They will revise it next year to "mostly harmless."

So what? I say a lot of things too and just because I do doesn't make it so.

So... I'm kinda drunk so I'll post this.

Totally believed in the triangle when I was a kid. Read the books, freaked out when we flew through it.  I add it to the other weird obsessions one goes through between the ages of say 10 and 13.  The embarrassment I feel to this day over my childhood beliefs (JFK conspiracy too) seems to fuel my hyper rationalism I have today.

That said.,.  I'm a chick,so let's talk about my tits or whatever.

One reason for that: In the early 1990s, she and her family flew in a seaplane operated by the now defunct Chalk's International Airlines from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale.
"The pilot said, 'We're going over the Bermuda Triangle,' and all of the sudden, a screw fell from his panel," she recalled. "He said, 'that's happened before, don't worry about it.' But it was just spooky."

That's it, it's settled, the Bermuda Triangle definitely exists.

Motor boat the triangle?

Much of the area where odd things happened is at right pressure boundary for methane.  At that depth a meter diameter bubble will grow big enough to make a hole a ship can fall into when it hits the surface.

That sounds almost like it was a planned stunt by the pilot. I know I'd love to fark with tourists like that.

There was a navy base in Hutchinson Kansas.  The nearest river get so wet that you may not keep your knees dry if you walk across it at flood stage.
