The problem wasn't the snow here in Atlanta, but that the roads became icy almost immediately. Couple that with the mass exodus out of the city and it should be easy to understand what happened. That being said, I do wonder if Tokyo's mayor will go on national TV and whine it wasn't his fault like Atlanta's mayor did.

Yeah and just like Tokyo we see this much snow about once every 15-20 years and only what we had a couple weeks ago maybe once a decade. So it makes sense to not sink millions into snow removal equipment but then commons sense is not strong on the internet.
