JonnyBGoode,
Wanted for questioning

Based on anyone who has watched the chicken cannon show, would it have been considered a deadly weapon if it had been a fresh whole chicken from the refrigerator compartment?

\Probably about 80% of the fark demographic.

Stop using hens as a weapon. Stop using hens.

Eh, cars and curbs have been successfully argued as "deadly instrumentalities" in order to apply aggravating factors to assault and murder charges.

As I recall, the frozen chicken did the same amount of damage as the thawed chicken.

FTFL: "It was adapted for an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and starred Barbara Bel Geddes. Originally broadcast on April 13, 1958, it was one of only 17 AHP episodes directed by Hitchcock himself."

and i saw it, when it aired. you know in 1958, yes i'm old. in any case it was really good, suspenseful to the last minute. and Bel Geddes was perfect.

I remember the thawed doing marginally less damage, but still comparable. It was like comparing a splat to cannon ball. I doubt he was shooting her from a chicken gun anyway.

So I should sue my school for having chickens in the kitchen because it's a "weapons free zone"? I mean, we have to show zero tolerance for these kinds of actions!

Not while Cheez-Whiz is still legal in fifty states. We need to get our priorities straight.

Around here in frozen mid America, every chicken is a deadly weapon. It's gonna warm up to 0 (that's zero) degrees today.
