Scotland fortunate to score nil in the Calcutta Cup I thought.

If not for my banker on Liverpool-Arsenal, I would have recorded a -80 for getting every pred wrong. As it stands, it's only -70. Still time though.

Getting goal difference right now. More importantly, we're not getting a derby sweep.

Lost goal difference, but what a fantastic goal! Again!

Even the superbowl was less one sided.

What a smashing header from the corner.  Swansea deserves to win with play like that.

2014-02-08 02:14:01 PM
And we've avenged that derby loss.

Good game to end the day, now to figure out what to do before a party later tonight.

Good lord, Arsenal. WTF?

2014-02-08 04:01:19 PM
Except for the two draws, every game was rather lopsided.

Honestly, I didn't think Liverpool was going to have a shot at getting into the contest for first place.  But they still need a bit of help to avoid having to play in the playoff round for next year's Champion's League.  OTOH, Everton has a shot to cement a place in European play tomorrow and keep Liverpool looking over their shoulders.

I'm not even thinking about the title at this point. There's 13 matches left and if we only drop points to Chelsea and Man City, we'll be in the top 4 for certain and probably top 3. The key is to avoid dropping points to bad teams like West Brom.

Bloody hell City were crap today - they have enough strength in depth to beat Norwich even with the injuries.

Real's back at the top :)

I really don't know how Atletico managed to lose to Almeria, but I'll take it. I still wish it was Atletico winning the title this year, but they seem to be content with throwing it away, with even Simeone saying they can't win it.

Bump. Sorry I'm late, dogs woke me up after midnight and I overslept.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose, Lennon, Paulinho, Bentaleb, Eriksen, Dembele, Adebayor
Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Barry, McCarthy, Osman, Pienaar, Mirallas, Naismith

I see draw written all over this game.

Manchester United counter-attacking goals 1992-1998.

The move starting at 39 seconds, I'm not sure what more you could possibly want from a goal. Other highlights include Schmeichel's assists, and Andy Gray complaining about United's defending when they're in Leicester's box.

Such goal. So very one touch pass.

/Seriously, that made me feel warm all over
//Schmeichel was a weapon

Last appearance for Jermaine Defoe before he joins the Toronto FC Experience.

Also joining TFC in a week, Julio Cesar, Brazil's #1.

Defoe, Bradley, DeRo, Cesar, Jon Osario, Gilberto.........geez is TFC stacked.

Nice save by Lloris.

Princip's Sandwich: Nice save by Lloris.

If that had been Suarez's strike from yesterday, it would have torn Lloris' arm off

/Good save there though

Damn close, but no cigar.

If Moyes wants another streak to break, he could break Fulham's mediocrity streak. They managed to lose against Sheffield United.

Will be inter

Morning, all. I'm at -30 in Predictor and hoping I can make up ground today. Missed the first half of this game, but apparently I didn't miss too much.

Whoa, I think Fark at my comment. Or I'm still hung over.

Meant to say that I'm interested to see how Toronto FC fits all these big-ticket players together on one team. Is Ryan Nelsen up to the task or making them a cohesive unit? It's one thing to get them all in one place, but quite another to get them to understand each other and work as a unit.

Got to think Traore makes his bow near 15 mins left or so. Everton could use a big target right now.

Spurs scores. No one awake to see it.

Even more so now.

ADEBAYOR!

Ade gives Tottenham the lead by taking advantage of shoddy defending by Everton

2014-02-09 09:55:09 AM
Well this is looking like a -10 unless Everton wakes up

2014-02-09 09:59:55 AM
Deulofeu's back in play. Might be Everton's best hope.

2014-02-09 10:03:58 AM
Good to see Townsend back. I really missed his ability to cut inside and launch a shot with no hope of finding goal.

Same here. Now it's time to let United fark my banker to complete my (almost) perfect minima.

True, but I think I might be the first to record a triple digit negative score.

That's what I thought when they played Stoke. You know how that ended up.

Liverpool are on target to reach 76 points. To top that, United will have to win more games in the last 14 than they did in the first 24.
