HaywoodJablonski: Good morning, guys. Can't wait to catch up on the Ars--- What the fark?!

You woke up at approximately the same time Arsenal did.

desertgeek: Flop!

Yes, but it's a very effective technique. Liverpool literally cannot score when play is stopped.

Can Liverpool put their foot back on the gas please?  Then again, maybe they are holding back so they can attack the Kop end in the 2nd half

I'd laugh if that wasn't so farking true.

At least I benched Mertesacker for this abortion of a match. I can't say the same about Szczczczc though.

I'm kinda disappointed too. When it goes this one-sided this fast, you expect an extreme scoreline.

They had to change their socks at 25 mins; they were ankle-deep in Arsenal blood

Stimied in a Rut: It's the same NBC stream you know, I don't think the channel matters. Or were you not using NBC to stream before?

SmackLT: You can still stream it from here, can't you? http://www.nbcsports.com/live-extra-schedule

Yeah, it's weird. I've been streaming it from NBC all season. Then out of nowhere this morning it tells me that my Dish Network subscription doesn't include the necessary channels. I thought it might be because I don't get USA, but you're both right -- the link on usanetwork.com goes straight back to Live Extra.

Maybe NBC finally figured out that I wasn't supposed to be getting Live Extra to begin with.

The only good thing about a 4-0 scoreline: Piers Morgan is now pissed. Likely in both the American and British meanings of the word.

I have to leave in a half hour to drive a friend to the airport. Earlier this week I noticed that it was going to take me away from this match and I was really unhappy that I'd have to miss most of the end of the game.

But after that awful first half, it'll be sweet relief to turn off the television.

That or Wilshere fighting all of Liverpool by himself. He has to be getting pissed.

He was pissed by the second goal. Here's hoping he gets his own team fired up, instead.

Was this a weakened 11 put out there by Wenger?  I don't know Arsenal well enough to be able to tell.

2014-02-08 09:07:38 AM
Time for me to go--I'll spare you any more whinging.  Since I won't be here at the final whistle, let me just say congratulations to Liverpool for the win. Your team played well and deserved it.

Don't think it is. He even brought Wilshere back onto the squad after an injured spell. They've just been thoroughly outclassed.

Someone told Arsenal that the game would start 20 minutes late. They thought the opening 20 minutes were a warmup.
