I like how they bury the fact that he's been readmitted to the hospital because his condition is worse than it appears way down in the next to last paragraph.

has he got to the part in the story where he finds the island full of meerkats with pools of fish where he and Richard parker were able to eat and regain their strength before deciding the island was not right, it was consuming them?

We need a simpler story for our report. One our company can understand. A story we can all believe.

Did you notice older Pi was in Spider-Man, and kept talking about Peter's dad, Richard Parker? Threw me for a bit.

Also, this boat had huge nets, and was r a little dinghy. I can see him catching fish and rainwater and living.

Oh right, if you were him you wouldn't eat your younger buddy when there's no other option to survive?
You'd be chewing on the lad's sundried testicles like they were McNuggets.

Waste not want not.

I'm saying he did it and I understand.

According to British Maritime Law Precedent, Murder by Necessity is still murder

The British have nothing to do with this. If they did, they would probably charge him for killing sea creatures. They are pussys like that.

Just pointing out that, historically, murder by necessity is not justification for murder.

I don't think it's right to charge people who have survived horrific conditions for the things they had to do.

Frankly I'm fairly certain that if I had to, I'd eat a person.
