brimed03: starsrift: twistedmetal: I saw this story earlier this week and I wasn't sure what was more impressive, the brass balls on this kid, or the stupidity of the employees.

Folks who work at Wal-Mart often lack the courage to question authority. This, of course, is a necessity for both Wal-Mart to continue to pay the wages they do, have customers who luxuriate in the servility of terrorized staff, and so forth, as is true for nearly any minimum or low wage job. Nobody who's living paycheque to paycheque wants to risk being on the shiatlist of some manager who may - or may not - have the power to cut their hours, on a whim.

What the hell is a "paycheque?"

Something that people who work for a living get - you don't have to worry about it.

Seriously.

I would love to see a picture of him so I can gauge how stupid the other managers and employees were to believe him as a manager.  I know some people look young, but believe him as a manager, and then allow him un-attended into the cash room?  The managers at the stores he hit need to be fired for gross stupidity.

So... People average an IQ of 100, and you'd think retail workers would fall in the range of 95-110. But the people who stay at WalMart any length seem around 90, based on the confusion I cause when I offer odd change that returns a quarter or two instead of random coinage.

Now, managment needs about 10 IQ points over the employees. But this only brings WalMart management up to the intelligence of a Target cashier. This kid merely needs to be a little brighter and a shade sociopathic to make this easy. If he manages to keep it off his adult record he has a bright future in business.

Man On A Mission: From TFA: "The Cleveland County Ditrsict Attorney is working on the boy's case butwhteher or not he will be tried as an adult in still being decided."

I know it's fun to call it the Daily Fail, but Christ on a cracker, can't ANYONE there learn how to write?

To be fair, they have to translate everything from British to English.  I think that's the reason for all these stupid stories from the Daily Fail.  Translation errors.  Like using Google translate.

He's 17. Why would you NOT try him as an adult? Stupid age-based law is stupid.
