Other than drinking a six-pack prior to/during preparing/cooking, a couple of glasses of wine while eating, and then going back to beer, I do not recommend mixing beer and wine.

Well, that was useless. I'm not sure that the author of that crap has ever had beer, or possibly wine either. Subby, that was bad and you should feel bad.

It's actually a pretty good idea, subby, but that's not what they did. That was more of a "if you like this, you might like that." I like wine (reds), but they make me thirsty as hell, so I'll often switch back and forth between wine and beer (left hand and right hand :) It'd be nice to have a structured analysis of which ones go well together. I kind of just use trial and error.
