monoski: The Irresponsible Captain: This is another reason copyright should move back toward the way it was originally intended. Petulant children feasting on the remains of someone's life.

So I am guessing you support the inheritance tax also?

I do approve of the Estate Tax. I don't entertain ever being rich enough to have to worry about it, and if I am then I shall do my part. I would defer to Warren Buffett's views.

A bit racist that they focus on the struggles of MLKs kids.

Struggles over estates happen daily in the circles of the wealthy. But, those heirs are considered job creators and are lauded for their unbelievably hard work in having someone invest their money.

But when black heirs struggle for control of their parents legacy, they are greedy vultures, and everyone takes the time to point out that the parent wasn't all that either.

Agent Smiths Laugh: Great men are few and far between.

Greedy, selfish, exploitative people are a dime a dozen.

Sotheby's auctioned off documents for $32 million, with the siblings receiving equal shares of the money.

Yet they still can't be happy and donate the bible and some odds and ends to a museum? Take back the $32M, give it to the NAACP and the kids can get a job at Burger King.

No surprise that King's family is a dysfunctional mess.  Wasn't Reverend King running trains on, and beating, groupies with Reverend Jesse ("Cut Obama's Nuts Out") Jackson?  Seems like a shaky family foundation.

King may not have been fabulously wealthy in cash when he died, but he came from a fairly well-off family.  His parents gave him a new car when he graduated high school, and Morehouse & Boston U. are upper-middle class joints.
