Link is worthless without video of injury.

"He will remain in the hospital overnight for observation and evaluation, and further information will be released as it becomes available," the team said in a release.
The puck immediately caused a black eye, bloody nose and grogginess, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Times have changed. A puck broke two bones in my face (orbital in two places, nose in one) and gave me a delightful concussion, and they didn't keep me overnight for anything. Had to find a 24 hour CVS to fill my Percocet scrip.

Damn you....I was gonna go with:

"what? no video?"

Apparently it was during a pre-game skate, and he was standing just inside the tunnel. No video goodness.

That said, I hope he recovers. I can't imagine how horrible an injury like that must be

Getting hit in the face with a puck is a stunning injury now? It's pretty common.

FTA says it was a "hard rocket pass". The article in the Tennessean names no names, but implies it was from Shea Weber. Good thing it wasn't an actual shot.

That was one of many adjustments I had to make when I moved from Florida to the New England region. Once winter has truly left, town hall puts up the following notice on the town website: "Construction Season has Started!"

I'm used to it now, three years in, but that first spring was both baffling and amusing.
