Death threat for what? Let me guess, for being an actress in an episode of a TV show where they were nice to a gay or non-Christian?

Well, whatever the reason was if you find yourself making death threats to 5 year olds you might want to consider that your thought process might be farked.

Nabb1: zappaisfrank: ADubs86: Why do I have a weird feeling that the threat is probably related to the lesbian moms episode?

Because this is America, land of reactionary morons who think threatening five year old girls is a divine act anointed by their Gawd because of what they read in an ancient book of fables written by neanderthals who also believed the earth was flat as a way of controlling superstitious idiots who didn't know any better and were too scared to question it.

While a completely unjustifiable thing to do, it appears that this is one person making the threats. But, it's good that you found a way to vent your rage at millions of people who don't share your personal views. I hope this process provided you with some catharsis.

It goes beyond "not sharing my personal views". When our society as a whole seems to be stuck in "park" because of an obstruction comprised of superstitious bullshiat, it effects everyone. It tends to bring out hostility in those frustrated by the lack of progress due to reasons that are unsound, unproven and unnecessary.

Deciding to send a death threat to a 5-year-old for any reason should be the clue that you're taking things a bit too far.

Death threats from that set aren't really an isolated incident. Sometimes they actually kill people too.

What "set" would that be? Loons who send death threats to little girls?

Religious morons. Did you read what you quoted?

Are you saying that threatening five year olds is a widespread thing?

Reactionary behavior is. This is just the latest example of it.

dittybopper: exick: I've seen that show and let me tell you, she's maybe the least objectionable thing about it.

Oh, I don't know.  I wouldn't mind being the meat in a Bridget Mendler/Leigh-Allyn Baker sandwich.

funk_soul_bubby: Odd thread for a religious flame war to break out.

The proposition was put forth that the threats were made in response to the lesbian moms episode of the show, which in the good ol' US of A is not an implausible suggestion. When this type of reaction to something such as that occurs, who would you figure would be at least one of the "usual suspects" or at least one of the "usual motives" for such a thing?

We're either talking about someone who did it on a lark just to be a dick thinking they'd never get caught, it's a crazy person doing it because they don't know right from wrong, or it's someone SO offended by the gay theme being brought into a "kids show" they felt compelled to take it that far. What would be the back story behind someone being offended by the idea of a two mom household? What would influence someone to think that was somehow "wrong"?
