Man, it can't feel good to shiat fiberglass.

I guess that answers the question about what a dog would do if it actually cathes a car.

Yet another person didn't give their border collie enough stimulation and then gets rid of it when it becomes a destructive little twit out of boredom.

Man if that's not like the ultimate white person problem!

What is it with Daily Mail articles tending to repeat the same four sentences over and over again worded slightly differently?

FTFA:  Mr Grimstead saw that his four-year-old pet 'was covered in white stuff' so gave her away the very next day - after claiming Luce also didn't get on with his other dog. 'I came home and saw her covered in white stuff and I thought she had got a bird and it was feathers - but it was the fibreglass from the car. He justified giving away the border collie by stating that Luce does not get on with his other dog, a 10-year-old border collie called Jess. Mr Grimstead, who bought his beloved Aston Martin DB9 Volante 15 months ago, added: 'She does not get on with my other dog.

They shouldn't have made the car steak-flavored.

I blame a squirrel. The tree rat hid in the fender and taunted the dog.

I reckon he ate it.

Considering the dog could do all that damage with out him noticing, obviously the dog was bored because this ass-hat never paid any attention to it or cared what it was doing.

/don't get another one

Nope,  midway down full carbon fibre.

So get a dog walker. It's a border collie. They're very high energy and need a lot of exercise. Dogs get frustrated and destructive when they're bored and have pent-up energy.

1) exercise your dog, buddy
2) you're an idiot for giving away a dog that YOU made the mistakes with and not telling the new owners
3) stick to cars, not living things which actually require your care and attention

Didn't think so, which REALLY makes me think that this is either a cut-rate repair, or salvaged wreck. Hammers home the point that the dude is a douche. "O noes! My dog exposed the fact that I'm a cheap bastard who can't really afford this car! I'd better get rid of it."

I feel so much better about my dog getting into the cat treats yesterday. Apparently freeze-dried shrimp are delicious.

This guy's a piece of work. I like this quote:

'She must have overheard me talking about re-homing her because she's normally friendly and never really chewed on anything before.'

I've known enough pet owners to never assume they're joking when they say stuff like this.

dogs never destroy your stuff and English cars have the best electrical systems......thought everyone knew this.

I was going to comment that apparently the dog does not receive enough socialization/exercise.  I have dog that had this same issue when I adopted her.  I walk her every day and she has free run on the house while I am at work, and we've never had a problem after her first week at her permanent home.  She turned 9 YO yesterday.

This.

And I wonder, too, if the dog wasn't suffering from pica. Which kind of makes this guy even more of an a**hole.

So much this, and I can't fathom giving away a dog you raised for the past 3 years. The guy probably looked at his ex-wife as a possession as well. Enjoy loneliness with your fancy toys buttmunch!

Real men never give up on a dog. Then again, real men realize you be the dog's best friend, rather than sit around waxing your faux-phallus in the driveway all day.
