Good riddance.  She was no hero to the working class, that's for sure.  Her hatred and misogynistic tendencies were too much to bare.

When her husband was vice president from 1977 to 1981, Joan Mondale earned the nickname "Joan of Art" for her patronage of arts and culture. She was a potter by training, studied art at Macalester College in St. Paul, and worked at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts after graduation.

RIP Joan of Art.

Huh. I was in North Central OK in elementary school at the time and Reagan skunked Mondale even harder than in the Electoral College.

My first thought was "Man, that's a sweet and easy Secret Service gig down the drain." Like Rose Kennedy in the early 90's.

Since you are on a laptop, if you manually copy a post and its link, and write out the html without using the "quote" button, will it do that or will it look like the older quotes?

She should have been First Lady in '84. My first vote ever was for Mondale.

I don't know that Kindergarten elections are an accurate representation of the populace as a whole.

/That's not to say they won't come up on Fox News in the next election cycle.

Well, I know I didn't make any caveats, but 7 posts are about the new way quoted posts look and 3 are about my 'prediction'... I wasn't very far off (so far).
