Look, Al Qaeda, in the arabic world, doesn't have the "pure evil" label they get in the US.  And they're concerned with their reputation among Muslims, as that's where they get their material support for their operations.  They have a lot PR, it's just not focused at us.  Terrorists need sympathizers to get by.

Why can't they just hand out a yellow card like other referees?

So god damn glad we didn't enter that mess, to the delightful chagrin of military contractors and war profiteers in general.

We know, we just have less sympathy for them, hence all the farks we aren't giving.

What's lame is that you can make videos of you and your pals cutting off someone's head and still have millions of people on your side.

Here's hoping that the only tenet of the Bush doctrine that rubs off on the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant Group is

YOU ARE EITHER WITH US OR AGAINST US

And that they act accordingly to their AQ brothers....er, infidels...er, Saracen pigs...

/he that troubleth his own caves...

Yes, mostly among people who think those people "deserved it."  But indiscriminate mass killings don't quite win over people in the same way.  People in general aren't the best judges of character.
