Been there, and yes, it's as creepy as one might expect.

what? WHAT?

Some of them are kind of adorable. Others might haunt my nightmares.

My network admin just handed me $20 and asked me to never again click that link.

Beg pardon?

It's sad what mental illness does to people.

Or, how about a little U-235?

I've also visited, as it's a short-ish drive from where I live.

Yes, it's creepy.

No, photos and words don't do it justice.

If you're ever in central Alberta, it's something worth seeing, just because of how weird it is.

I would go, just because of number 43:

When PETA protested the opening of the Gopher Hole Museum in 1996, the museum sent them a postcard with a two-word message:

Get Stuffed.

Those are Squirrels, Richardson Ground Squirrels! I miss Gopherville.

Good, but it isn't a match for Terry's Taxidermy and Mounted Animal Nature Trail

In Windsor there's a place where you can look at beavers.

Do you throw loonies at said beavers?

Sorry but Wiarton had the best gopher diorama of all time!
(The thing had pennies glued to its dead eyes.)

Wow. U.S. Senators barely even pay their pages.

Was Steve Carell seen nearby?

Someone thought they were inventing Victorian taxidermy...

I'm thinking that's not the traditional sense.

Ha!  The gopher hole museum is awesome, was just there again with the family last summer.  The best part is their proudly-displayed wall of hate mail from animal lovers around the world.  If you grew up in this part of the world though, you'd know that the gophers (actually Richardson's ground squirrels) are both plentiful and a nuisance to farmers.  They are in no danger of being eradicated.   Many meet a fate far, far worse than being stuffed.

I'm holding out for the beaver diarama...

Sorry, but Willie is unimpressed that you called him a gopher.

It wasn't Gopher Day yesterday.

"Say, nice beaver!"
"Thank you, I just had it stuffed."

Number 1 looks like muskrat love.

"Why, I've never seen a three-headed gopher. That's real good you done that, Anthony. Real good."
