Keith Payton, 40, of Allenwood and Williamsport, and Salina Johnson, 40 of Williamsport, were discovered about 9:30 p.m. Friday in a garage along Bloomingrove Road north of Williamsport.

This is the second report of a Peyton-related choking incident this weekend.

thursdaypostal: aerojockey: I was about to vote Darwin, but if they also lit a kerosene heater I would lean toward suicide pact.

That was my thought as well.

I mean heck, if you're going to do a suicide pact may as well go out with a bang.

It seems this one left them exhausted.

iwantamonkey: Unfortunately the age and model of the vehicle was not in the headline. I believe modern (gasoline) cars in good condition cannot kill someone with CO fumes. Unless the car was more than 30 years old, diesel, or in very poor condition (like a missing catalytic converter), it was probably the kerosene heater that killed them.

I'm not gonna try it, YOU try it!...I'M not gonna try it!...Let's get Mikey!

Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in the car, they said.

Another senseless marijuana death. When will we learn and make it illegal?

That would be funnier if that didn't appear to be an air soft gun.

Not that I'm planning to try, but with a modern car and a working catalytic converter, it shouldn't create enough carbon monoxide to kill you, unless your garage is really small and really well sealed.

But there was also a kerosene heater, and those create carbon monoxide like nobody's business.
