2001 is a classic. I wonder what this guy is going to do next to keep his audience interested in his obsession with fonts. Maybe his audience will consist entirely of people who share his interest. Not sure I will go back to find out. Probably not. Blog did not suck though.

Noted  subby's use of "O" rather than "0" in the headline.

Surprised Lileks didn't submit this link. Truly far more than I needed to know about fonts. HOWEVER, I love 2001. Got it on LaserDisk.

When I put my garage up next year, I'm doing the inside just like the Pod Bay on the Discovery. When I get home, I'll be driving the car into my very own Pod Bay. Hopefully the garage opener doesn't get rebellious...

Someone should redo some of that shiat in Comic Sans just because.

2001 is by far my favorite LaserDisc purchase followed by The Jerk.

I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over.

OK, for someone claiming to be reading a typography book, it has to be said I didn't compose that previous post very well.

The intro to Donald Knuth's MetaFONT book has something along those lines as a warning.
