I think the State Department should start working on the arrangements post haste.

fta Rodman, who has made four trips to North Korea, said he knew nothing of Bae's case when he first mentioned him - and still does not.

Wow.  I guess taking a few moments to learn before opening his trap is a bit too much to ask.

Surprised how many people hate him for what he's doing. Is it really that much different from playing ping pong in China in the 70s?

Poor Dennis Rodman. Something is definitely bent in his clock tower.

Well, Bae was proselytizing an evangelical form of Christianity in North Korea . He was deliberately working towards bringing down the NK government. He only got sentenced to 15 years hard labor. In a country that executes you for not crying enough during a state funeral, I'd say he got off easy. :p

There's a very real chance this could happen. Dear Leader is not known for being rational.

They get Dennis Rodman, we get another Christian evangelical? No matter who wins, we all lose apparently.

To be fair, it's kind of hard to get Wikipedia in Best Korea. That being said--he'd know even less if he read the Wikipedia article on Bae.

Meh, I never understood the disdain for Wikipedia.  It's probably 99% right on most things, and it lists it's sources.  I wouldn't cite it in a research paper or base a major decision on it, but its not a bad place to get some basic facts about MOST topics.

I never thought about that.  But still, if you don't know the facts don't open your pie hole.

Go look up Muphry's law on Wikipedia.

The majority of Wikipedia is right because the important stuff is written and edited by people who know their stuff and do the research and cite sources. But stuff like vaccination articles? Yeah, be wary of the accuracy of those.

I'm on a mobile device, but regarding the accuracy of Wikipedia I love posting the image of the article on DNA--to wit, "I SHIAT ON EGGS."

What's nice about Wikipedia is that you can look at the sources section, and use those links as a starting point for finding good information--because those sources usually cite even more sources.
But yeah, don't cite Wiki. Cite the source's cited documents.

I think a lot of folks just plain hate him. He could be wandering the earth like Cain in Kung Fu, using his exceptional rebounding skills to rescue kitten from burning buildings and trees and folks would be outraged simply because he's wearing a teddy and a hennin  while doing it.

He's a different kind of fellow to be sure.

If he was, he could kill their whole government body in one day.  It would look something like Pacific Rim, only without the cool robots to stop him.

I don't know. Did the ping pong players of the 70s praise Chairman Mao as a good man, claim there were no atrocities being committed, etc.? If so, then fark them too.

I don't really care about the trade thing, I just want Kimmy to start treating Rodman like a family member.

Dennis Rodman is a well meaning buffoon.  He's too dumb to understand any of what's going on regarding this.
