Nick Nostril: Oldiron_79: Liam Burns: I think he really wanted sex with that girl from Taxi Driver

It took me a second to remember it was the guy that shot Reagan that thought he'd get Jodi Foster nookie. I get him and the guy that shot Lennon mixed up all the time like Helen Keller/Anne Frank meme.

Me too. I can never remember which one was the deaf one and which was blind.

IIRC, I think it was the one who disappeared over the Pacific in that Lockheed Electra 10E, which really sucked after being trapped in that attic for so long.

whidbey: Lsherm: He went through a liberal phase in law school until he realized that most people just want to take advantage of you, and that put an end to that.  It was glorious to watch.

In other words, he could have been liberal material, but no one in his family offered the necessary support to break out of the traditionalist mindset he was brought up in. Of course without that support, it's pretty easy for right wingers to become cynical and burrow themselves back in their rather dysfunctional trappings.

Yeah, whatever.  Why would a conservative family help someone break out of the mindset they grew up in?  For that matter, why would a liberal family?  Have you ever heard of a liberal family encouraging their offspring to be conservative?  Double standard much?

Just pulling your chain, Lsherm. The whole conceit was ridiculous to begin with. I liked the image.
That one time he tried to get your whole family to recycle.
