Thank God, I was worried that Chevy Chase would never work again.

I was presently surprised with the first one.

Grew up in the 80's, so I laughed my butt off.

Maybe you haters can lougle a sense of humor.

Yeah, good thing neither he nor Cusack are mentioned as returning in this article.  This sounds like a great idea.

I too liked the first one, had some heart to it. Willing to see the sequel.

I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the first one, but considering that at least one of the major stars from the first doesn't appear to be returning I'm going with cash grab. I'll wait till it comes out on demand or dvd.

Either Jessica Pare comes back to show more boobs, or Lizzy Caplan can show hers. Both look spectacular.

I liked the first, but they went way overboard with the 80's stereotypes.

Awesome. It will answer so many of the questions that the first one raised.

I didn't. I wanted to like it, I honestly did, but I found the constant LOOK AT THIS 80s THING! going on to be quite irritating. Had it been done with some subtlety instead of constantly going out of their way to showcase it it would have worked far better IMO.

The running joke involving Crispin Glover's character's arm was the best bit as far as I am concerned.

I liked the whole sentimental bit of "what if we did our lives differently?" Not the first stab at that theme, but elevated above the day-glo legwarmers jokes.

The first one was good, but completely forgettable. I've forgotten most of it but remembered I liked it when I saw it. I just might watch it again tomorrow. I welcome this sequel more than Robocop's.

Will the third one have them going to the 1880's where doc Brown has to get the hot tub up to 88mph

As long as it doesn't get in the way of the Back to the Future reboot in which Marty McFly Jr. goes back to 1985 and accidentally interferes with Marty Sr. meeting Doc Brown. Think it culminates in Jr helping Sr win the "Enhancing Understanding" Science Fair, which is judged by Doc, thus starting a friendship between him and Sr.

count me among those who really enjoyed the first one.

I like the sound of this.  The first was one of my favorite movies about time traveling in a hot tub. Now let's all rank our top 5 favorite time travel movies.  Trilogies count as one.

1) Back to the Future
2 Terminator
3 Groundhog Day
4 12 monkeys
5 The butterfly effect

This first one was funnier than the first Hangover movie. I laughed a lot and Rob Corrddy was hilarious. It did cover the 80's pretty good.

Primer needs to replace The Butterfly Effect. Technically it is the most thoughtful exploration of the premise, but the first four are more entertaining as movies.

Looper was really good.  And for a more sentiimental take on back to the future, there is Peggy Sue Got Married...even though that may or may not have been a dream.

Also there's a really good small budget indie movie called 11 Minutes Ago (or maybe 11 Minutes Later).

Lets see... A conneticut Yankee in King arthurs court?

'About Time' was unique in that the time travel aspect of the movie was so understated. No CGI time tunnel, flashes of light, or floating busts of Einstein. Time travel is treated like popping down to the corner store for a pint of milk. No big deal.

They can't remake that movie. Would you trust Michael J. Fox handling a case of plutonium now?

In the original draft, they actually had Marty driving the DeLorean onto an A-bomb test site and channeling the energy of the explosion into the flux capacitor. It got far enough along that the sequence was storyboarded.

Yes, the original concept of the time travel device was a refrigerator.
