I am so confused as to how the original tweet is actually racist. Is it because MSNBC had the word "biracial" in it?

johnny_vegas: whidbey: johnny_vegas: whidbey: johnny_vegas: you really are just a one-trick bully aren't you?

lolwut

you started attacking me a few months back for what reason I don't know, but if you stop it I'll stop replying in kind.

maybe it was the rape yourself comment that made you so loveable? Was that just a bad day or who you really are?

I don't remember it. You probably said something unforgivably annoying.

in general it appears disagreeing with you appears to be all that is required to get unplug the dam of vitriol.

Pretty sure it takes more than that. If you can't handle my posts, don't reply to them. Simple enough.

It's not racist. The right wing is jumping on this shiat and making a big stink over it.

Well, bye. "Doctor."

I think it's only 'offensive' in that it works against efforts by people to whitewash the Right. 'We're trying to make people think the right isn't racist, or against race mixing.  That tweet doesn't help my deceptive goal!'

o5iiawah: rzrwiresunrise: It's sad to see Michelle Malkin exploited as a card in the right-wing race deck.

Oh look, another liberal who sneers at a non-white male choosing conservatism as a personal political ideology.
conservative Blacks are tokens/cornballs and women who are conservatives are stupid/sluts but republicans are racist bigots.

Wouldn't really characterize it as a sneer, at least not at her. More pity than scorn for her in this instance. But I will sneer at your limited capacity for insight.

*sneer*

"Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family."

THIS is what they got their panties in a knot about? Sounds like the assholes who watch FNC don't like being called out for what they are, including that Little Brown Turncoat Malkin. She's one of the pets they keep around to show their "diversity", being too stupid to realize that A. she isn't white and never will be, and B. if the sh*t hits the fan the righties she sucks up to will not see her as one of them, but just another brown person to be exterminated.

I hope for her sake that she reads up on what happened to Nazi collaborators after the war. Or not.

This. You know, I wasn't a fan of Olbermann. He was caustic, self-promoting, egotistical, but he did have one trait that made him stand out: he would pound the bullshiat back down the throats of the a$$holes that spewed it.

He's still doing it...  only on twitter now.

~~Keith Olbermann @KeithOlbermann
Proceed RT @mitchhwagner This is my first time watching @KeithOlbermann and it keeps getting worse. Makes me want to hurt myself.

So is TV's Frank.

Phil Griffin's latest apology to Reince Priebus makes me think that @MSNBC stands for Must Show No Balls Constantly.

PsiChick: They apologized. That's it. It's over. Drop it already.

...they also fired the person responsible. Thus why it's still a thing.

/I'm sure Griffin is looking for any excuse to fire Maddow and Hayes.
//Surprised he didn't fire Maddow when she said "STFU" to the Koch brothers.

I remember when everyone even Fox News was talking about how amusing it was that Dubya was dancing on stage at that Aids event.  Except MSNBC.  All they did was to talk about it being wrong for him to be up on that stage dancing while soldiers were dying in war.

Fart_Machine: It came from Public Policy Polling dumbass.  There's even a link in the article.

Oh look - a democrat/progressive funded policy outlet finds data that conservatives are racist.
That poll, by the way surveyed 400 people.  if 45% of them think interracial marriage should be illegal, you've essentially found 180 people living in the deep south who dont like it.
So you form your basis for half the country based on what 180 people in the deep south think.

If you wandered out into traffic and got hit by a bus the world might actually get a little smarter.

Fart_Machine: My those farking goalposts moved to the farking moon

I didn't move the goalposts at all.  You're upset that one person in entertainment doesn't like gays and you dont give a shiat that another person in entertainment (actually most of the sector) doesn't like gays.  It isn't moving the goalposts, it is you having a double-standard.

And if double standards didn't exist, moron liberals like yourself wouldn't have any at all.

Fart_Machine: Google is hard.  They also link to this story in the original article.

from that article:
His daughter's starring role in a Cheerios ad transformed into a starring role in the national conversation about race two weeks ago, when her commercial drew offensive attacks on YouTube.

So some morons on youtube with unknown political leanings make comments about a cheerios ad and this is now just an attribute ascribed to the right in general.

rzrwiresunrise: More pity than scorn for her in this instance.

what is it about someone's personal choice that has no impact on your life that offends you so much?

Fart_Machine: The fact that you believe Twitter is programming is frightening.

MSNBC and other news outlets engage in social media to drive people to view their content.  Though not always programming in and of itself, twitter is a mouthpiece for the network.

So are their results wrong?  Again, you don't know how polls and sampling work do you.  The point wasn't that it was a poll for half the country, the point was that there are still right-wingers who are offended by interracial marriage especially in the south.  So their tweet really wasn't wrong at all.

o5iiawah: I didn't move the goalposts at all. You're upset that one person in entertainment doesn't like gays and you dont give a shiat that another person in entertainment (actually most of the sector) doesn't like gays. It isn't moving the goalposts, it is you having a double-standard.

Um no, the point was that you dismiss the Duck Dynasty guy and are outraged over a tweet from MSNBC which was, at least to gays, far more offensive.  It's you who has the double-standard, not me.  I'm not outraged by either one of them.  Now do some more handwaving.  You're amusing.

o5iiawah: So some morons on youtube with unknown political leanings make comments about a cheerios ad and this is now just an attribute ascribed to the right in general.

Yes, I'm sure those morons on YouTube were totally liberals and not right-wingers like the ones polled who want to see interracial marriage illegal.  Pull you head out of your ass.

o5iiawah: MSNBC and other news outlets engage in social media to drive people to view their content. Though not always programming in and of itself, twitter is a mouthpiece for the network.

So it's not programming.  Very good Cletus, you're learning.

And that was pretty poorly worded on my part.  Phil's public comments were far more offensive to all gays than an MSNBC twitter post which reached far fewer people.

Notice in the original post I made that you snarkily replied to that I focused on the EXPLOITATION of Malkin in right-wing race politics, exploitation to which she seems oblivious. It could be that she refuses to see it since it's made her a ton of money and sometimes one's integrity is worth a best-selling book; or that she doesn't see it because how could they view her that way when she's towed the line for them so loudly all these years? Either way, to them she's a slanty-eyed mudbucket that says all the right things so the right-wing can have their "Some of my best friends are [insert minority here]" poodle to prance about in the dog-and-pony show. It's the same for guys like Allen West, Bobby Jindal...

Neither she nor her "choice" are offensive to me, a fact you didn't get the first time around since your reading skills are somewhere between DUH- and -HURR.
