Fine police work there, Lou.

2014-01-31 12:24:48 AM
I know that drug dealers do this. Have a package shipped to a neighbor. Neighbor unwittingly signs for it. Wait to see if it's being tracked by the police. If so, neighbor gets busted instead of dealer. if not, go next door, have a friendly conversation and make a joke about how dumb the delivery people are that they didn't get the address correct, and collect the package.

Stuff like this got on the news a few times, until they busted the ones setting it up.

James Sutcliffe, 19, was held under counter terror laws at the weekend

The poison was allegedly bought by City worker Kuntal Patel, 36, who is accused of attempting to kill her...mother.

Matricide is not terrorism, even if the person planning it is brown.  Terrorism is indiscriminate violence to cause terror.  Wanting to kill your mother is just a normal part of growing up.

UPS dropped off something from Coach on my doorstep instead of the house across the busy road.  I gave it to them and the female accused me of stealing another package.  They got that one the next day.  Apology?  Nope.  (They saw me once and said, You're lucky we got the other one!)

They can suck my balls.

Poway (say SD because most don't know where Poway is)

I have never had the displeasure of meeting so many childish, abusive, whiny, self-righteous, entitled children in my life.  And those are the ones over 30!

It took me a long time to realize that Poway is NOT representative of the rest of California, though.  I can leave and go anywhere and the people are kinder, more real and pleasant than this...place.

Anyway, sorry for the rant.

It's because, apparently, I'm assuming here, that she had ordered both at the same time but one came and the UPS guy was too lazy to cross the busy street (it's a main road here) and just dumped it here.  The other one came the next day to their correct address (even though the one I received had their address on it).  So she accused me of stealing the one that hadn't arrived yet.

Worse yet, mail the farking package to you and hang out to make sure the coast is clear, then make the pickup from the porch.  Doesn't always work out (fark Prince George's County Sheriff's Office - bad rep for a long and deserved time):

FTFA: "Wearing a Hello Kitty T-shirt in court, Kuntal Patel spoke only to confirm her name, age and address. She  stared at her lap throughout the majority of the hearing before District Judge Jeremy Coleman, who turned down an application for bail."

Obviously she was trying to bribe the judge with sex. She must not have been attractive enough.

So where can I order this stuff? I am getting pretty tired of having to go pick up Mom every Sunday and taking her to Publix for a goddamn 3 hour shopping spree for 7 little cartons of yogurt, half gallon of OJ, and Philadelphia cream cheese that she has stockpiled with "Do not sale" dates going back to 1998.

One of my neighbors never cared who signed for his deliveries, we just left them in front of his door.

I once ordered a 27" RCA LCD HDTV from Best Buy which was shipped in the box from the store clearly and brightly identifying the contents with just a shipping label on it, and the UPS guy left it on the porch of the house across the street, and I saw him do it! And I had to run across the street and snatch that TV off of my neighbor's porch right after he pulled away, and if anybody saw me they would think I was a package thief! The address on the label was correct too, it was addressed to 1126 and he left it on 1127's porch!

Depends on the Mother.

When you are woken up about five minutes after midnight on your 18th birthday by your Sheriffs Deputy stepfather kicking your bedroom door literally off its hinges and he throws you bodily out of the house with your own mother standing behind him and nothing but the clothes on your back, and 10 years later she's still not speaking to you (while telling the rest of her side of the family that you were a criminal and a thief and a liar etc etc etc, because you got caught once smoking weed when you were 15 and decided to quit going to church with them when you were 16, you might have a different think about it.

Yeah, I do know someone that went through that exact scenario.
