rka: weather.com says the Sunday temps in East Rutherford NJ will hit 49F for a high and a low of 29F overnight.

That's not awfully cold even if you're from Phoenix.

That's downright balmy compared to the past few days in the region. I'll be quite happy to have temps above the "snot in your nose instantly freezing the second you step outside" line.

Wadded Beef: LessO2: Skyrmion: Yeah, I'm surprised Seattle is being considered the underdog.

Believe it or not, there are people in this world who think objectively.

Arguably the greatest QB ever playing in the era that has rules that favor quarterbacks and scoring? And Denver is FAVORED? No way!

I like Manning.  I think he's a great QB.  But I can't tell if the Manning is a Jedi talk is coming from the media or Broncos fans or just uninformed fans.  Manning makes mistakes.  He has shiatty games.  He just does it less often than other players.

AdamK: you mean 255-0 right?

You just reduced me to a giggling mess. Congratulations.

Not my dog or fight, but there is a reason he included the word "arguably."  Your point is only valid if you selectively quote him.

Delay: Well, the weather forecast now (less than 3 days out) is 50 degrees. Bet on Seattle if you want, but you might lose a lot of money. I'm suggesting 42-14 Denver is optimistic for Seattle.

You think a 28 point win by Denver is optimistic for Seattle?

Ok...

In the last two years Seattle has played 12 teams with below average defenses (which Denver has) and has averaged almost 35 ppg.  But you think they'll be lucky to get to 14?

And Denver isn't getting anywhere close to their season average, let alone beat it by a TD.

Haven't laughed like that in a while.  Thank you for that.

It's okay. The more crazy people posting for a big win for Denver, the better it is for Seattle.

F*ck it, guys, Denver should win this game by 600 points. Anything less than that and basically Seattle won. And if somehow Seattle actually wins the game, I guess Denver's the chokiest bunch of chokers in the history of chokedom and the Seahawks are the greatest Cinderella story ever.

Thank you. I'm tired as hell of having every commenter slobber over Manning's knob lately. He's good, he's not the best ever.

/hoping the Seattle D gets to him just once, he'll shatter like a Ming vase.

When was the last time Seattle lost a game by more than a TD?  Three years ago?
