That's arguably better than Russell Wilson's actual 'do these days, and a huge improvement for Buck and Aikman.

Sounds good to me.

That's close to where I put it.  I'm guessing it at  24-17 Seattle.

2014-01-30 06:47:19 PM
Denver will score a minimum of 24 points.

Seattle may or may not.

To tack on the "holy christ, can we just play the game already" thought, I skimmed an ESPN article on Russell Wilson today that spent I think somewhere around two paragraphs (and then many of the comments touched on it) with his apparent friendship with the Mars Hill Church guy.

We're starting to Tebow-ify Wilson with all this downtime. I think I'm just going to nap now and not wake up until Sunday.

I'm just going to pretend like I didn't read that. I like Wilson a lot, but Mark Driscoll can go fark himself with his official John Holmes Signature Model dildo.

I accidentally tuned in ESPN today and they had AJ McCarron in the studio, dressed up just like Tim Tebow.

Nobody wants to see that.

I wouldn't put much stock in it yet, anyway. I think Wilson is still in his honeymoon phase with everything in Seattle so when "local asshole pastor who pretends to be hip" came calling he said hi right back without much thought behind it.

This might be the first article I've read that has even mentioned the effect that Harvin will have on the Broncos D.  Is it just that everyone is assuming he'll get hurt?  Or has he been overlooked by the media's desire to try to get Marshawn Lynch to talk?

In my office SB box I got NFC 1, AFC 3. That's pretty good; Seahawks 41, Broncos 3 has a nice feel to it.

Good idea. I hope wilson is just being friendly. Because the mars hill dude is farked up. Like seriously farked up.I am stunned the dude has a single human female in his congregation. I can't imagine the low self esteem required of a female to sit there and listen to his Horseshiat.

Well, the weather forecast now (less than 3 days out) is 50 degrees. Bet on Seattle if you want, but you might lose a lot of money. I'm suggesting 42-14 Denver is optimistic for Seattle.

Arguably the greatest QB ever playing in the era that has rules that favor quarterbacks and scoring? And Denver is FAVORED? No way!

Yup, reasoning like this was what led to the Colts being favored over the Saints in 2010.

And it took an elite QB to beat Manning and the Colts. Plus a ballsy onside kick.

Let's not have rational thinking get in the way of the emotional reactionary thought process.

2014-01-30 10:57:52 PM
The problem I'm having is that I can make a perfectly rational sounding argument for every single kind of outcome, from a 55-10 Denver blowout as history once showed us, to a similar beatdown by Seattle. And

This is a rare Super Bowl where I can see reasonable, logical debate for almost EVERY angle.

...

However it ends, only the bookies will be happy (as usual).

Is there any way the Niners can lose again? That's what I'm really looking for.

Well, if you all know so much about how and why your team is going to win, why don't you prove it?

NFL says ticket holders have to be in their seats 2 hours before game time. Game lasts ~4 hours. Temperatures will be, well, awfully cold. I am glad I dont have to attend the Super Bowl because it is going to suck to be there.

weather.com says the Sunday temps in East Rutherford NJ will hit 49F for a high and a low of 29F overnight.

That's not awfully cold even if you're from Phoenix.
