"Bronx Bombers" as a tag? really? I don't think the system understands Fark humor

That's the thing about those young Muslim terrorists -- they blow up so fast.

Let's spend a lot of money putting him back together again so we can kill him dead later.

So in other words, he's going to live another 30 years or so....nice.

I'm a Boston resident. It was dumb luck that I wasn't at the marathon- first time in 10 years I had to work that day- and I dealt with the lockdown a week later.

Killing a 19 year old won't help anyone. I know this kid will never leave jail alive, even if he could be rehabilitated. And that's another tragedy.

I hope the Yankees improve a bit this year, it was hard mocking them without feeling mean.

Don't really care if terrorist boy lives or dies, but I'd like to stop seeing him get attention.

Put 26 rings on his fingers, have him wear an Arod Jersey and be drunk at Fenway, I give it two innings before some drunken Sox fan decides out of the blue to start a fight with him.

When in Rome do as the wicked smaht Romans do, they should have gone for life in prison.

Give him a fair trial and when he is convicted, but him in a federal pen in the general population.

True, it's a shame they're going for the death penalty. Hopefully there's one juror that sees the stupidity of killing him over just imprisoning him. It sounds like his defense may have a case for him being under the influence of his brother. That may get him off the death penalty. Barring a completely botched prosecution, the kid isn't going to step free again

Don't worry. After we carry out the execution, all the victims will come back to life, and no one will ever attack the U.S. again. In fact, all Muslims will convert to well-groomed Christians. Nope. All problems will end. For ever and ever.

17 charges that carry the death penalty? He's farked.

And since he was home-grown, he will not be offered a plea-deal that allows him to rat on others. We like our controversies across the sea, not in our backyards.

/Funny. He and his brother only needed two charges that carried the death penalty. Oh, youth.

Oh, and thousands upon thousands of Vietnamese, Iraqis, Pakistanis, Afghans, Yemenis, et al ... but hey, those aren't really people, so lets just call it three.

I've wanted to go to Fenway with a Bob Stanley jersey. He threw the Buckner pitch, and oddly, relieved Mike Torrez after Torrez gave up the HR to Bucky farking Dent.

Which is three more than the state of Massachusetts has executed since 1948.

Isn't making somebody dress like a Yankees fan "cruel and unusual"? Not to mention making somebody attend a Red Sox game.

I'm pretty sure you're allowed to put a rifle in their hands and march them off to die but you can't biatch-slap them.

2014-01-30 06:31:00 PM
This is really pathetic. The people of Massachusetts abolish the death penalty in their state because it offends their liberal senses. But instead of standing up for their beliefs, they pass Tsaranev off to the federal justice system because they really want the death penalty in this case.

Hypocrites.

Terrorism is a federal crime, MA didn't pass anything up. The Feds took control of it instantly

Step 1: Clone Subby's mom 72 times.
Step 2: Put him in a cell with said 72 clones.
Step 3: Lights out.

Too expensive, recommend locking suspect up with 72 random farkers instead.

I've always had a Yaz jersey, but what I want more than anything else when it comes to Sox gear is an authentic Dewey jersey, either a 70s one or a 1990 road jersey (since it'd have a name on it, and no one would confuse it with Manny that way).  Yaz's last game may be the first game I consciously remember watching, but Dewey was my favorite player on the Sox when I was a kid.  (Didn't hurt that he looks like he could be one of my dad's siblings.)

This dude thinks he's going straight to Allah's great houri house in the sky.  He's headed to a rather warmer climate, of course, but that won't change the thinking of all the other idiots who want to die for Allah.

So no, don't execute him.  Send him straight to ADX Florence and throw away the key.  The houris can wait.

Being forced to watch the Red Sox could be construed as cruel and unusual punishment.

I know I'm late to the party, but...Cue the death penalty haters, who claim that this person has a right to live even after he deliberately killed three people and maimed numerous others.  Take the money that it would require to keep him alive for the next 50-60 years and give it to the victims that are still living.

I was in the bleachers for that series, surrounded by Cubs fans. Had a hell of a time. Were you the one wearing the hardhat with the 1908 World Series champion shirt?

No i was on the Third base side, back when we were in a season ticket pool.  I do love the bleachers though. Just wanted to say that the Red Sox fans were awesome. Not Jags like the Yankee/Mets fans.
