Ever since they've started trying to name winter storms, I get a little excited.

Can we all just agree to fake it so the Polar Vortex will pull out?

The animation was hypnotic, but the shot from the satellite was scary, almost alien.

That's a lot of snow... I wonder how this is changing the planet's Albedo? With all that reflectiveness and the pole switch, and the sun's new maunder minimum, and changing ocean salinity... Surely we are about to enter a new Ice Age, right?

Somehow that made less sense than my attempt at humor. I tried to parse it... [PARSING ERROR], Tried again with the same results... and gave up. I have no idea what you were going for. Now pardon me while I go restore from yesterday's backup so I can get rid of the confusion loop your sentence caused.

/Butterfly effect? Major flooding... west...
//DAMMIT, WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?

Short answer: Terry Pratchett
Long answer:  You're right.  My mistake in direction.  I should have said 'rimward' rather than 'west' as referenced in the Discworld novels.

That makes more sense. Well... as much as T. Pratchett can be said to make sense, anyway.
