Now I'm curious to see these photos, so I don't think his plan to stamp them out by speaking out about Google is working as intended.

I think I'm just going to start calling everyone a Nazi Sex Pirate moving forward. It's simultaneously insulting and hilarious.

soo.... its so easy an intern could do it.  Thats just awesome. So now...everytime someone gets a little upset about something involving themselves.. they sue.. get Google to add yet another exception to the search filter.. and.. so now after 3 or so years of people regretting decisions...  a search takes what..  30 days after it goes through all the various personal addendums on the search filter?

I've always wondered. How does Google search the entire internet in 1.365049586 seconds, and Windows Explorer takes two minutes to find grandmafurry.jpg on my own hard-drive?

Another arrogant moron who doesn't understand how the internet works.

So, the reason why Google fights stuff like this in court is pretty obvious:

They make money off of their search engine by being able to provide search results for things on the internet.

If they continuously get ordered to filter results, they are basically diminishing the value proposition of their search engine, potentially this could be particularly devastating if they get ordered to remove results and other search engines do not (that is to say, there is no level playing field to keep competition in the search market even).

So because of this, they have to fight EVERYTHING, regardless of how inconsequential it is.

I know this seems like almost an absurd position to take, but imagine what the bloody overhead of trying to comply with court orders to remove links combined with the diminishing effectiveness of their search engine would do to their share price. Basically, they have to fight these things to protect their business, regardless of how stupid or ultimately inconsequential it is because just allowing this to progress to a point where everyone is demanding Google filter results more or less destroys their company.

This, sorry dickface, someone recorded your Nazi Dom slapping your ass with a riding crop.

It's on teh Interwebz and can't be recalled or unseen, unfortunately.

You should've just shut up, kept your head low and waited for it to blow over.  Now, I'VE seen it, along with many others.

Remember that NSA pdf released about 6 months ago about how to search the internet?

Someone should make an internet rule book, include The Streisand effect, Poe's law, Godwin's law, rule 34 etc.
